Saif and Fardeen are actually old pals.

They got along famously, supposedly did the substance abuse together too, lol.

Even on the first season of KWK, Saif talked about how Fardeen texted him and warned him about Preity saying, "Watch out brother" or something like that. lol.

He was also one of the very FEW celebs invited to Saif-Kareena's wedding

both couples were together at that point..it's strange how things work out

They did have problems in the middle-when Saif walked out of Kurbani and Fardeen opted out of Race..also Saif replaced Fardeen as the provogue brand ambassador.. they've sorted out their issues because he was present at their reception..but things did go awry in the middle

I thought he was invited from Bebo's side as Bebo and Fardeen have been close over the years.

Really i just remember reading something about Fardeen and Saif's war. maybe it was on rediff (but this was YEARS ago)

Yes, but in order for Bebo to invite someone, Saif also has to be cool with them, na. And Bebo was never THAT close to Fardeen as a FRIEND

One reason I don't think they had a serious relationship or anything is that unlike HR and Shahid, Kareena's pretty comfortable with Fardeen. She was also invited to HIS wedding.

And he was invited to hers.

Me thinks that he was interested but she wasn't. Though I love the idea of fardeen-bebo having a fling. Also, she's the type who instantly announces her love, even when she was besotted with HR, she kept making these dodgy statements about being in love and not being able to express it yada yada 😆
