How bad is prison?

I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of going to jail, to determine if KILLING Pia and Jigs will be worth it. I don't think they will ever reform, there's no hope for Pia to become human much less a good one. So I think that if they get wiped out, if not be me then some freakish storm would be good enough, every thing would be better and it'll save me a lot of tears. What do you think?
