In FB I was having this conversation with a new SPN fan ... when we got speculation going on..
Cain and Abel are ancestors of Henry and John right? Cain had the mark and now so does Dean has...Cain chose eternal damnation for the sake of Abel's heaven isn't it?? Dean also chose that path..
so, when so much similarity is there.. when it's all history repeats itself mode..
Then what If ?? the end of the series would be that of Dean does that deal , choose to be in hell forever , in exchange of Sam's heaven ?
( last checked Sam's heaven didn't had dean in it but well that was childhood memories.. what if THAT whole Sam's heaven change to instances revolving Dean and hence Dean get's his dues for all the love he is showering on his kid brother? anyways sorry for going OTT )
in that way both Dean and Sam will be dead .. as Jared hoped they should go out..and also a poignant Irony in the face of the whole show.. where the expanse of story is about Dean protecting Sam all the time but then he getting killed by his own hand?
I mean in 5x17 Dean does say that when Lucifer wears Sam to the prom It has to be Dean who faces him and not Adam.. as Dean and Sam are on equal footing, are the right match for a Face off. and are not only each others Achilles heel but also strongest ever nemesis if it comes to that.
besides Cain did do terrible things cos of that mark and he said explicitly that It will cost him great price.. what if it's his own brother's life? what if It's his entry in to the world of being all demon and a killer just like Cain ? at least Cain had a loving wife who sorta put leash on him.. But dean is gonna face his only world Sam against him so he might not have any support and might give in to the dark abyss of demongiri
one more thing.. Id Dean and Sam are like repeating history with the way Cain and Abel had tensions between them then why only their generation.. and not the generation before them.. like during Henry/ john time?
