Jokes apart...its possible Rudra's dad may not exactly be an innocent guy who was betrayed...I mean he may have a shady past or something...kya maloom!
Somehow I cannot imagine thakurayin betraying Rudra's dad.
Anyway...the Dad has done quite a number on Rudra and he has grown up with so much prejudice and anger in him.
