Can Alexander just catch those Farsi Fairies and send them quickly to Hades ? I have had enough of these coward, ingrateful and mimicry ladies !

I don't think even Hades would want them. Let Zeus unleash his wrath on them, since his son is a bit mellow these days. 😆

In Devta Zeus, we trust 😆 But personally I wouldn't like to worship him at all ! I had rather Poseidon to drown them in Jhelum 😆

Let's not conveniently forget that Porus needs Barsine's help for Farsi support, and he couldn't have defeated Darius if she hadn't gone against her father to help Porus. He also previously used her to get information about Darius' hidden stash. Going to rescue her in Faras was to repay her for all her assistance, which he left without doing as he escaped with the other Pauravengers after some major destruction of infrastructure. The sneak attack on the Farsi camp in Taxila was also to garner Farsi support, a move endorsed by Chanakya himself. So let's not kid ourselves about motives and forgiveness, shall we?

For someone who claims to know Alexander so well yet spectacularly fails when it comes to demonstrating that, I refuse to believe Porus doesn't know how Barsine feels about him or that a lot of what she does for him is driven by her love for him instead of political considerations as a princess. On some subliminal level this affects his decisions for sure.

I agree with Vaishnavi that it is pointless bringing up personality traits for comparison because it has been established by the famous maa Jhelum herself that it is a difference in soch between them, and I must say between us here too.

One more thing, if you keep dragging these points in over and over again you will force those on team Alexander to not only become more PR averse but also be reluctant to comment on characters on the PR side. That is unfair to our friends on the forum and creates an unhealthy atmosphere. We have every right to comment on any character or event on the show as long as we are not being disrespectful. Yes, some of us talk more about some characters than others because of our personal preferences but that doesn't mean we hate every other character.

Liking Alexander doesn't automatically mean we hate Porus or vice versa. I don't know why that is so hard to understand. When someone says anything about Porus or any other character that they appreciate on their own merit and independent of comparisons with the Macedonians or the Macedonian track, those on the PR team are quick to jump in and add to the praise. If any dislike or annoyance is expressed regarding someone on the PR side, I often see comparisons with the Macedonians brought in right away. This then ruins the mood of the poster as we get dragged back into meaningless debate.

Please stop being so territorial, and give people some breathing space. I am this close to quitting the forum because of this sort of thing.

I might be the only one feeling this way, but I am sad to see Ambhiraj's character end on the show. He got what was coming but at least he added a much needed buffer between warring kings.
He was the only consistent character on the show (other than Shivdutt) and to me the only one whose reasoning made sense every single time. Even though his tactics and decisions were questionable, his devotion to preserving the sovereignty of Taxila and protecting its people came from a single-mindedness not often seen on the show.

I recently watched a scene from an early episode where he stood in front of his awaam, beaming with pride about Taxila as they chanted Taxila jaytu. That one scene captured the essence of his character and what drove him. I wouldn't go so far as to say the role was brilliantly written, but it was the only one on this show that the CVs managed not to destroy completely. Gurpreet was convincing to me as Ambhiraj and the steely look in his eyes always believable as those of a smart tactician and statesman. It remains to be seen if Ambhikumar will ever live up to his father's legacy in this area, or if he would even want to.

I will be very disappointed if the CVs don't give him a royal funeral or don't spend time showing how his death affects his family and his people. He was the ruler of a kingdom known for its excellence in knowledge and education after all and he genuinely loved his people in his own way. Taxilan politics will be forever changed after this and will be instrumental in the victory or defeat of the other kingdoms.

Porus understands Barsine likes him
Thats why in that market he took her along when he put fire to persian goods

He also emotionally blackmailed her to tell Darius plan of attack

Porus is just using Barsine so she gives her father Dariyus secrets out and now helps Puru rashtra to win against Alexander

Does Barsine understand that? Yes and no, Barsine is a innocent daddys girl, she needs a strong man in life to take all her decisions. First she was emotionally attached to darius now Porus

Porus understands that and using it to benefit him and his kingdom thats all

Alexander i am not sure how and why he may marry Barsine?

Barsine hates him, he knows she hates him

But Alexander wants to win her by force to his side, he failed so far

If he had used emotions like Porus, she would have been on his side by now

Barsine thinks emotionally rather than practically, thats her biggest weakness

Because in politics and kingship you cannot survive being an good human or emotional person, you have to be ruthless and practical

Ruksana on other hand is shrewd and practical lady, shes playing her games well with Alexander. Her strategy is , ensure husband begs and falls at your feet till than do not surrender strategy. Once he becomes a lap puppy than only accept him(like nur jahan). And strong men love challenges, they want to chase after a woman, the more difficult a woman is to get the more they fall for them and become a putty in that womans hand. As they say love is blind, love is brainless too. To think a shrewd ruthless warrior like Alexandr becomes a slave to Ruksana shows power of her tactics
