Barsine:
When Alexander won Gaza the town was engulfed in flames. Steitra (Barsine) gave away her share of wealth to rebuild the great city and to help the residence. Even the emperor Alexander was impressed by her benevolence...
In persipolis also barsine '' and her grandmother helped the citizens after the grand palace was burnt down...After every battle the princess and her grandmother helped the injured with medicines...šŸ‘

Roxana:
She wished to have 20000 sythian slaves because she hated them . She asked Alexander to burn the state of Kamboja because they didn't bow down properly before her and Alexander did.. She took another 10000 slaves from the kunar valley and send them to Bactria to her father...

Alexander requested her to not ride her horse as she was pregnant...but she didn't listen and misscarriage happened...😲

nd she made the life of her husband difficult because her monkey died one night...she threw alexander out of the bedroom in the middle of night andd cried for hours...šŸ˜† Alexander had to gift her a new monkey...😲...

She demanded only royal ladies will bath her not the slaves..all general wives were then at her service all the times...šŸ˜† no surprise that generals hated her

After the battle was won in hydespass...her behaviour was very disrespectful toward the Paurvas...she called them wretched souls who don't even have decent clothes...she called porus a maniac who should be always in chains. She drank too much, even Alexander was very much worried about her health as she didn't wake up for a day...

Puru ki bewdi behan didn't care about her bhaiyašŸ˜† aur yeh Rakhi bandhne wali item to bilkul bhi nahin lagtišŸ˜†šŸ˜›

I would be interested in knowing who wrote about Roxanne in such lurid detail, and how you would rate the sources for credibility. In diplomacy, we always rated our sources, confidential and otherwise, according to reliability. Without such ratings, the information would be useless.
Now most of this reads like a scandal sheet, or something from the script of I. Claudius, or one of the sagas about the Roman Caesars and their imperial courts. Do you really trust all this, and if you do, is the source so reliable?

If you were satisfied with the source, how can you call Roxanne "a royal brat" ? She was neither royal nor a brat. She was clearly a monster, and her besotted husband was an active partner in all her crimes.

Besides, I am only surprised that Alexander's generals did not kill this Roxanne as soon as Alexander was dead, and that she survived for another nearly 13 years.

But you yourself wrote that his generals hated her, and that is also what I have gathered in general. Why would they suddenly start respecting her after the boss was dead?

There have been a lot of fables written about Roxanne, including one waxing eloquent about her immortal love story with Alexander. But which are the sources for these tales? No one has given me any reliable source which references contemporary or near contemporary sources about Alexander's life.

And the kind of picture your post painted of Roxanne is plain disgusting, indeed horrifying. If these tales you have summarised were indeed true, the man who was besotted with such a creature is not worthy of respect.

And it is no use to go on saying that she loved Alexander. As I wrote once to Deepika, where is the proof of that ? She might well have decided that it was better for her and her family for her to pretend to love him.

Even if she did love him, that does not make her any the less of a monster, or him any the less of a weak, criminal fool for indulging her to this extent.
