Good Lord, my dear , where on earth did you dig that up from? That was one of my favourites from my Jodha Akbar posts - and for others there too, for it had 94 Likes - and I am very glad that you enjoyed it. Of course I don't mind your sharing it with others here. If they have the time to read it, I hope they like it too.
I think you would now understand, comparing that with the love stories in Porus, how pheeka these are. I am sure this lacuna must have affected the TRPs for this show. Nor does even the best of my posts here thus far even begin to match up to this one. I just don't have that kind of material to work on.
As a matter of fact, I have a mind to go thru that Gordian knot post of mine again myself. Just yesterday, another young friend of mine had flagged a post I had done on Ruqaiya Sultan, Jalal's first wife, called The Ruqaiya Enigma, and so I read it again, and rather liked it!
No, I had no idea I would, nearly 4 years later, be doing full blown analyses of Alexander! Or that I would love this Alexander as I loved the early Jalal.
Now do go and look at my post for tonight, which has some interesting material that has nothing to do with its title!

@Aunty,
Speaking of wooden expressions, I came across this brilliant post of yours today from October 2013 about the Gordian knot in terms of Alexander and Akbar's lives, both of whom received the title of "The Great", and the much anticipated meeting between Akbar and Pratap.
If you don't mind, I'm posting the link here so that fellow forum members can enjoy reading your great analysis:

Little did you know then that you would be doing full blown analysis on Alexander, did you! 😉
