Ripudaman was indeed one gem of a character.. PR sequences became dull after he passed away.. He too had interesting equation with the ladies, be it Anusuya or Dasyu Rani.. 😆 Only Pritha was a miss.. 😆 He would have definitely guided Puru well and instilled him with practicality ...

Honestly I never had hopes from Bamini... He was a quite short sighted king just like Ambhi Raj.. Marrying Anusuya and punishing her for the faults of her brother is also not respectful in any way... Another thing he too had a very big fat ego.. I remember the scene where he stops Kanishk from beating the old man, but when he tells him that Kanishk is not fit enough to be a king, he allows Kanishk to torture him... Now this is not going to imbibe any good values in Kanishk.. He did not get the chance to nurture Puru, but he got the opportunity to bring Kanishk up and knowingly or unkonowingly he only instilled pride and ego in him.. Puru too thinks quite high about himself, but he is no Kanishk in anyway... There is a whole list of things that have gone unnoticed and unchecked by Bamini like...😆

May be he is a good human being who would take right decisions, but only when he is spoon-fed with all the facts and proofs... 😆 This is in no way signs of a good king or a politician .. As a king he is expected to be much more vigilant about the happenings around him.. I can understand if one or two things wud have escaped his eyes but a whole lot of things going unnoticed is utterly surprising...😆 So I don't thing he would have been able to teach Puru anything because he himself needs to learn first...😆

Anusuya, I don't know what to say... She had two sides to her personality.. 😆One is her inherent character where she is fierce, bold, possess a great will power.. She is alert and strong .. She understands the irreversible damage that can be caused to to internally fighting kingdoms.. She sees through Daraius.. She proactively helped Puru in escaping from getting hanged... She vowed to kill Shivdutt .. I liked that scene... She did not say that her husband or her son would kill him. She told him that she would kill him.. I appreciate this scene ..

And then there is another personality.. Bollywodified version, where she is that "Maa" of the hero who is always tortured.. Where CVs do not know how to portray her character strength than to torture her.. Extremely idealistic, who would forgive a psycho like Shivdutt for reasons known only to her.. Not to forget the Takshilla incident..

Whatever it is, but political training would require a practical and rational Anusuya not an extremely idealistic one...

I think Puru ki training ko hume bhool hi jaana chahiye... We should accept ki Puru Pothi Padh Pandit ban chuka hai... 😆

And PR's army is hilarious... It is so important for CVs to let Shivdutt have an upper hand over Anusuya that they have completely forgotten ki bina army ke toh Alexander bhi nahi lad paaya tha.. How can anyone in PR be confident with this set of army, who without any qualms is fighting against the whole royal family without any reason.. Daraius's army also joined Alexander after they lost the war, but they fought from Daraius' side .. It was for their bravery that Alex accomodated them in his army.. But look at these people their king, their yuvraj, their queen all are alive right in front of them and they are fighting against them... How can we talk about high moral values when their is no sense of loyalty... Aise to Alexander lega ki aaek baar bo jao meri team mein shaamil ho jao , they will leave Puru's side at once and join Alexy's team and then Alexander will kill all of them for the lack of loyalty.. Bas war khatam.. 😆

Having said that, we all know that somehow whenever Alexander attacks, the army will magically reorganize themselves, become deshbhakts and will fight from Puru's side and no one wud need to do anything.. TV shows mein yahi hota aaya hai aur yahi hota rahega.. 😆
