Part 8: The past; A night mare'''.

Imarti was busy in kitchen when Phulwa called for her, it was only 6.30 in the morning and Phulwa is already wake up? She came out with her morning juice'.. But her daughter is ready to go somewhere'. "Ma I am going to temple with Babu" She said.

" What you are going to temple? Actually this much early?" Imarthi asked in a shocked voice' what happened to Phulwa? She thought'..

"Phulwa smiled at the excitement of her mother, but its her lips smiled not her eyes, nothing ma, I wanted to pray for the good health and for the life of my husband and my family now so for that..." Phulwa said in with a mocking shyness in her face and broke in to a laugh to hide the real feelings she had behind the visit of temple...

Babu was examining his jijiya from the very start of lourney she is not belongs to her real self today. She can try a thousand ways to hide her pain from me but all those will fail miserably since I could get my sister better than any one else.

" Jijiya you look very sad what happened to you? What bother you this much?" You never treated me as a younger brother always shared everything with me now wont you share what makes you so different?. Also dont try to hide it from me... you know you started to see me at an age of 3 but I started to watch you from my birthday." then he smiled at his jijiya forcing her also join with him...

Instead of answering his question she hugged her little brother tightly and asked

"will you leave me alone Babu?"

'What happened you jijiya. Alone? Never till my last breath I will be with you"

"Now stop this and tell me what happened?'

Phulwa released him and looked straight into his eyes and started to narrate what happened.

" I was very comfortable till the last day night babu. I was very happy. Abhay looked a bit upset but with me he also seems to be changed' But last night, I saw I don't know Babu I cannot differentiate it was a night mare or the future for played in front of me'. We were all walking together along a road.. All seems to be a bit worried but our togetherness as usual giving us warmth. The atmosphere was fogy'. Then suddenly a storm came along with a huge fog' foe few minutes I lost my eye sight' When I get it back I was standing alone in the road' I called out all '.. Many times but no body answered. Then suddenly a laughter filled in the atmosphere' then I wake up''. An unnamed fear grabbing me from then''.."

Phulwa stopped telling the dreadful dream whose single thought makes her shiver in pain'''..

"Jijiya from when you started tensing on these sorts of simple things'. Now just pray in the temple you will get settled'.."

Then they could hear the sounds of cars parking in their front yard. They looked each other in astonishment.

Takur Daroga singh entered into the house as a storm, roaring the name of Phulwa with a twenty - twenty five people with gun. The house members stepped a back in horror. Then controlling the senses Mangro moved front and asked Takur what he needed. Takur looked into his eyes, with his diabolic eyes.

" I need your daughter's life" I need her to fulfill the last wish of my son " where is that devil?" He bawled out angrily.

She is not here, by the way if she is here mind your words Mr. Takur remember you are standing in my house and talking about my daughter". Mangro retort.

His words made Takure fume more and he pushed him aside. Abhay caught mangro on time helping him from falling.

Abhay stepped in to handle Takur, while mangro holding him back. " Don't show the strength of your politics on us Takur. We wont going to fear'. You just go out of the home now itself'.. "

" Without her life? Never not at all at any cost'"

"What we said is correct Takur she is not here." Imarti said.

"Believe on you? Do you felt I am a fool? Hay what are you doing go and check inside.

Abhay, Mangro, Bhanua stood in b/w not allowing them to enter in to the room. Both sides pushing and pulling each other.. Takur taken his gun out and aim it at Abhay'.. He wanted to make Phulwa feel the pain of lossing the one who is nearer to her before punishing her with death.

Phulwa was standing in the temple her eyes closed'.. But then her face tightened as her mind has just felt something very bad she had a sudden desire to be with her family she wanted to run towards them'. She turned around to saw Babu and she grabbed his hands and ran fast to their car''

Gunta ma saw him aiming the gun at Abhay. She cried out his name and stand b/w the bullet and Abhay. All suddenly shocked with the sound of gun and her cry'.. Abhay turned around and hold her in his hand' She is just injured in the hands'. but she is losing her blood. "Takur," Mangro rushed to takur,. While takur aiming his gun at his next pray''

"Takur stop this" the police inspector entered in to the house with a warning along with the Prathap singh'

Takur looked at him and suddenly down his gun'..

" What are you doing Takur, this kind of an open attack can ruin your political carrier for ever so control your angry and wait for an apt time' now just leave the place'" The inspector said in a low voice to Takkur only.

Those words of the inspector made takur think on it for a second time. Yes he is right, I cannot put my political carrier in danger at any cost.

"I will be back'. " Takur warn all'.

They took Gunta to the hospital.

The fear was vivid in everyone's face. Phulwa is out from the home. The only pacifying fact is the presence of Babu with her. All got a bit of consolation on thinking that but not Abhay he could get the calmness of him mind back only when he could get to see her... He rushed out of the home only to met Phulwa coming running to the house. His first reaction was to hold her in his hands for ever, Phulwa also wanted in fact that was what they did.

"Are you alright Phulwa?". Abhay asked in shaking voice...

"What about you all Abhay I am fine?"

"Here also everything is fine Phulwa".

Phulwa entered the home to look is all are correct'.. She saw everyone sitting and discussing something serious'.

"What happened" Phulwa asked..

On seeing her Sakunthala rashed to her and hugged her tightly' then looking her carefully to found whether she is wounded?.

"I am ok ma but all of you are looking very much frightened what happened here?

"In fact nothing dear we are all planning to shift to our ancestral home any ways in UP. We are about to dispose all our business here." Prathap singh answered calmly.

" But suddenly what happened Pappa?"

" Nothing we just board with the fast life of Mumbay, right mangro?"

" Nothing more than that? "

" Nothing more now listen all we are not making any kind of time delay for that we are just moving today it self'. Just go for the very important things. No more works only packing we are already called for the lorry which come in a few minuted just pack all the very important house hold things into them' there will be three'.. Then for us we called a bus which will come by night and all our dresses and other important things will we take with us Surjay will stay here looking the two houses."

They cannot find any other way to secure their child. They just wanted to took her away from that monster as far as possible. Phulwa felt like some emergency in the home she could smell the chaos but no body is ready to tell her anything'''''

By noon Bhanua took Gunta back. Phulwa asked her how is she now? She was believed by others that her hands were wounded by a broken piece of glass vessel.

By night their bus arrived. It was heart breaking to left the house where they have been born up. Prathap and Mangroo looked back to their house to make this one they spend all their life'.. The houses which were the part of their happiness and grief. The houses which witnessed the birth of their sons and daughter and lastly they witnessed the engagement of Phulwa and Abhay'. Now from today on wards they wont be a part of their life'. The two houses were looking similar to each other. Two weeks ago they were full of joy.. Agitation but today all happiness has been stepped out of them. All walked fast to the bus a look back to them will go to make them weak.

Phulwa had a very bad feeling of she may be the reason behind all these' she was silent from the morning, the dream and now the sudden decision to left the home for UP all made her in a very bad condition.

Phulwa sited with Abhay, Prathap with mangroo, Imarthi with sakundhala. Lattu and Babu, then Gunta and Abhay's bhua. Gayathri with dadi ma. Bhanua and Abhay's cousin sitted in front with driver to direct him''.

Phulwa was silent through the journey. Abhay noticed it and asked her what happened.

" All these just because of me right Abhay?"

Abhay look at her in complete deny " No Phulwa you have not done anything' what u have done is you just helped a fellow being and believe me that is a good deed dear. Not everyone can stand for someone else without caring about self'.You knows what, my heart fill with proud whenever I think of that'.not just mine but all's"

Phulwa smiled and while placing her head on his shoulder she said "You love me a lot Abhay".

"But there also the first prize goes to you Phulwa"' He placed his head over her's.

Phulwa slept for a few minutes when she wake up she felt like the place is completely unknown for her' She looked at abhay. He was sleeping peacefully; the wind makes his hair flying over his forehead. He looks handsome and cute while sleeping she thought. She slowly hold the red tinned hairs in her hand and make a failed attempt to place them behind his ears..

But in her that attempt Abhay lost his sleep. He opened his eyes to watch Phulwa trying to place his hair on position' Phulwa saw him waking up. "Oops I am sorry" She said with a sheepish face. Abhay smiled "Its ok actually I could get some more time with you awake"

He slowly hold Phulwa around her shoulders and make her more close to him.

" Abhay am I say u something. Today I saw a very bad dream Abhay". She explained her dream to him' Abhay all the time patting her hair in a pacifying manner.

"Even death cannot make us separate Phulwa' where ever we two may be we will be with each other, at all conditions and this is my promise to you' I will be for you forever'. " He consoled her.

Phulwa feels like her heart is filled with something special a feeling of love, fullness. She was actually overwhelmed with feelings'

"Abhay can you kiss me?" Phulwa asked abhay looking deep in his eyes. He also has an intense longing for that but'. Not now any ways'..

He leaned to her to place a small kiss on her forehead and said " Just this much now Phulwa"

" I just asked this much only Abhay what did you thought?" Phulwa asked in her innocent face.

" She just asked for this much? Oops what I have been thought of??" Abhay felt a shame on him.

" Nothing, I just came to look at Bhanua kakka" He moved away from her trying to hide his shyness. He moved to front looking back at Phulwa. While she was enjoying the sheepish smile of Abhya.

" Jijiya are u here every one is searching for you." The sound of Babu wake her from the pool of past memories in which she was dipping. " Ya coming Babu, you just go" . He knows from her eyes what exactly his jijiya has been thinking , especially to day she must be missing them a lot' He came closer to her,

"Jijiya Are u feeling alone?He asked

" With you babu? She returned an another question.

" Then Why are you looking so sad".

" Was missing them Babu today If they were with us'. How happy will be them?

" Yes jijiya How good it be? If Abhay bhaya was with us I will made him decorate a room for Gouri the way he does with me and Lattu."

" But they all just left us Babu, its only me and you now."

He is looking good at his engagement kurtha. Phulwa thought.

Today her younger brother is getting engaged to his love Gouri . That forced Phulwa to remember all those incidents before and after her engagement. That was a real festival' with the two families. Happiness increases with the increase in number of people to share it. Now on this earth she has only babu to share anything all others left her on that day'''.

What she remember is the smile of Abhay nothing more than that she was just closed her eyes for a few second after Abhay left her to Bhanua kaka, then she heard a big voice then the bus turn for the first time then for the second but in that second turn of the bus she pushed out through the window then fallen to the river she could felt someone else also with her but failed to figure out who... the last scene before she closed her eyes was the bus hit on something and explodes to become a fire goal...

Then when she opened the eyes after a week, in b/w she remember coming to memories but suddenly losing it. All that one week is seems to be like a dream. After one week she get to her complete consciousness. She was in a small clinic... pain was there but what she felt inside her heart was most intense than that...(latter Roshniji said that she was there for a week).

"My families, " that was the only concern she had then she just wanted to know whether they are ok.

" One more person is here admitted with you. Our doctor and her husband were found you in the river. Then on a little search we found that person also in the river a bit away from you. Then latter on enquiries we found that a major accident occurred a few kilometres away and you two may be present in that bus which got in the accident. I don't know any thing more than that all enquiries are done by our main doctor and her husband when you become ok meet them and ask." the doctor said,

It took about one month for her to walk... it was strange that in that one month nobody came there to watch her... then one day she asked her doctor about her family, he directed her to the room of one Dr. Roshni Bhavani. She slowly opened the door of her cabin to first meet with that lady who gives her a new life...

From her she came to know about the truth of her families and in fact her life.. now on this earth for her the only self remains is Babu... they lost all others in that accident... and also the doctor's husband who is a social worker and also an advocate Mr. Bhavani enquired more on that and he found out that the accident is caused by the takure and the real aim was her. So he did not expose abt her existence to any one in Mumbay... In fact in Mumbay no one exist who are interested in her existence now other than Takur Daroga Singh.

Phulwa was in a great mental turmoil for a few months... it was hard for her to accept the death of her parents Abhay's parents and then Abhay himself all together... She had the ring in her fingers still with his name on it. Also that watch he gifted her a few days before his death... He was promised her not leave her but he did not keep his word even for a few minutes... It took about five more months to stabilize Phulwa's mind, but the one who come after that five months was someone else, a new Phulwa who forgot to smile, who forgot to enjoy the small happiness's of life... She had very vague memories of those five months. I fact she don't have any... All those were happened four years back... still the visuals are clearer than the one she is seeing now.

After those bad days one day Roshniji asked her to help her in the literacy programme they were conducting in the village. That was the beginning of new Phulwa, who was now a familiar figure for this Rajpoor village people. She was helping them to get basic literacy; she was fighting for them to get their preliminary rights. Who took first hand in conducting medical camps and many other activities in the village, she also started a small scale industry to help herself and also widow women... Along all those work she silently collected evidences against Takur Daroga singh with the help of Bhavani, to use against him on the last day of judgment... She was living for that single day... after that she will be happy with the death. Actually Bhavani bhaya and Roshniji are working against the wrong deeds of land lords. She could have been make a touch with Akshat bhaya and Bhabi but she don't wanted to do that since she was afraid that they could also meet with some tragedy just because of her.

Bhavani & Roshni: A social worker and an advocate, married to Roshni his long time love having one child Gouri. Both husband and wife started working among the illiterate helpless villagers many years before. Bhavani advocated many cases against the land lords there and helped villagers to get their property back. Roshini followed her husbands path to help and support the fellow beings. She opened a clinic in the village for treatment... Both are earning little from their profession but both together running a business. Both are big enemies to the land lords in the village due to their constant fight with them... Phulwa and Babu were supported by them to walk into a new life. Now both of them are helping Bhavani and Roshni to fight against those evil people.

Rajpoor (Completely imaginary) : A small village near UP, from where a few kilometres away the bus was caught in the accident.
