You and me both.

I had never watched Indian soaps (actually I I actively avoided when the family were watching) but one day whilst flicking channels I saw the beginning of PHS and Sugni and dream caught my attention. then TVS came. He was nothing like any male lead on Indian soaps I had seen and I was hooked.

And even when the story went to the gutter VB's and GUlki's performances kept me watching.

That is the first time I had seen VB and I could not believe that there was such an absolutely brilliant actor on Indian TV - not a six packs and 2 expressions (happy and everything else) chiseled face hero but a man who could convey soo much with his eyes, expressions and body language.
