On entering the house, Sugni sees Vikram Singh standing in front of her. She angrily asks him how he entered the house and calls out to the servant. The servant asks Sugni to shut up and apologizes to Vikram Singh. Just then, a visitor enters the house and greets Vikram Singh. Sugni realizes her folly and apologizes to Vikram Singh. Gulabiya who is unwell readies herself for a performance. Vikram Singh visits Jwala Thakur and greets him. Jwala Thakur who is not pleased with Vikram Singh's return to Mahuari greets him back in a tone of sarcasm. The duo exchanges a few caustic remarks after which Vikram Singh asks Jwala for the keys to his mansion. Jwala sarcastically replies that he only had the keys to the mansions which were under his possession and over which he had complete right. Vikram Singh backs off and leaves assuring to return very soon. Gulabiya reaches the venue of the performance. However, she keeps coughing continuously because of her ill-health. The agent who has hired the Bedni performers gets angry at Gulabiya and curses her. He states that Bedis half her age were available to perform and that she was of no use any more. He adds that if she kept coughing the Thakurs would throw her out leading to her family starving to death. Gulabiya starts the performance but falls down unconscious in the midst. A friend runs up to Sugni who is wandering with other friends in the village and informs her of Gulabiya's health.

Sugni rushes to Gulabiya when she comes to know that she had fallen down unconscious during the performance. Unable to find help, Sugni rushes Gulabiya on a handcart. Meanwhile, Vikram Singh drives home after being insulted by Jwala Thakur. Sugni incidentally comes across Vikram Singh's car on her way to the doctor. She requests Vikram Singh to help her. Vikram Singh helps Sugni and takes Gulabiya to the hospital. An aide informs Jwala Thakur that Vikram Singh was seen taking Gulabiya to the hospital. He adds that Vikram Singh was trying to impress people to win them over before elections. At the hospital, Vikram Singh gives Sugni Rs 230 as fare for ferrying him home from the railway station. Sugni accepts only Rs 100 saying that she ferried him only half the distance. Vikram Singh asks Sugni to take good care of her mother and leaves. Vikram Singh reaches his mansion. However, he is stopped by Jwala Thakur's aides saying that the mansion was under the latter's possession. Meanwhile, the Tehsildar along with some other government officials reaches Jwala Thakur's residence and states that some part of his land had been attached by the government. Realizing that it was Vikram Singh's trap, Jwala Thakur gives up the mansion's keys. Vikram Singh rejoices his victory.

Sugni notices that Gulabiya was stitching her ghagra instead of taking rest. She enquires with Gulabiya why she was stitching her ghagra. Gulabiya replies that Bednis always had to look presentable in front of the Thakurs else they fell for some other Bedni. Sugni complains that inspite of not being in good health, Gulabiya was not taking good care of herself. On learning that her youngest uncle Kathari was taking his wife Laxmi to the hospital, Sugni requests him to bring Gulabiya's medicines while coming home. Gulabiya tells her elder brother that Sugni was concerned about her health and hence was not sending her to perform the raai dance. She assures him that in a day or two she would convince Sugni and go for the performance. Lagariya irritatingly states that she understands Gulabiya's condition. At the hospital, Kathari bribes a ward boy and secretly conducts a sex determination test on Laxmi. Kathari uses the money which Sugni had given him to purchase Gulabiya's medicines. Back in the village, Sugni and her friends hear someone trying to start his car. They realize that someone's car had broken down. Sugni and her friends go to the spot. She is left surprised when she learns that Vikram Singh's car had broken down. Sugni introduces her friend to Vikram Singh and begins to praise him on his mechanical skills. On Sugni's insistence, Vikram Singh allows Sugni's friend to repair the car. Meanwhile, Vikram Singh enquires about Gulabiya's health. Sugni thanks Vikram Singh for helping her out the previous day. Sugni's friend manages to repair the car. Before leaving, Vikram Singh gives a tip to Sugni's friend. He also tells Sugni that she must try to keep herself away from other people's affairs. Sugni and her friends get surprised when Vikram Singh returns and offers to employ Sugni's friend as his driver. Sugni happily agrees and accepts Vikram Singh's offer. Sugni's friend gets irritated and asks Sugni not to speak on his behalf. He later goes along with Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh decides to pay Sugni's friend an amount of Rs 3000 per month. Sugni and her other friend get elated and rejoice on their friend's success.

Now that I m watching this show Knowing what vikram thakur is I must say I enjoyed vikram sugni scenes ... both of them together had the magic on screen

their meeting / his helping her with her mother / his offering job for rathu

all those scene were great to watch

Gulabiya's elder brother takes money from Banshukh and assures him that Gulabiya would perform the raai dance in front of the Thakurs. Meanwhile, Gulabiya feels dizzy while she is at home. Sugni gets apprehensive about Gulabiya's condition and begins to complain. Gulabiya's elder brother believes that the family was simply getting concerned over Gulabiya's heath. He states that his younger brother Kathari would bring Gulabiya's medicines. Kathari is excited as the sex determination test on his pregnant wife Laxmi reveals that she was going to deliver a baby girl. He shares his excitement with his family. Sugni asks Kathari whether he brought Gulabiya's medicines. Kathari apologizes to Gulabiya as he spent the money in conducting the sex determination test instead of purchasing the medicine. Sugni and Laxmi begin to complain and rage at Kathari. Gulabiya forgives Kathari. To earn a living for her family, Gulabiya decides to go to the mansion to perform the raai dance. Sugni gets irritated on seeing Gulabiya's attire. Instead of getting concerned about Gulabiya's health, Gulabiya's elder brother asks her to go as Banshukh was waiting for her. Sugni asserts that Gulabiya would not leave. With no option left with him, Gulabiya's elder brother orders his wife Lagariya to get his daughter Tinkle ready for the raai dance. He orders Lagariya to tell Tinkle what happens during a raai dance. Gulabiya, Sugni, Kathari and Laxmi are left shocked on hearing his words. A helpless Lagariya is forced to wake up Tinkle from her sleep. Sugni stops Lagariya from waking Tinkle up. She announces that she would go to perform the raai dance in front of the Thakurs. Gulabiya states that she would not allow Sugni to leave. Sugni states that she could neither send Gulabiya nor Tinkle to perform. Before leaving, Sugni's dupatta gets stuck in Gulabiya's steel bangle. Sugni removes her dupatta and leaves. Gulabiya is left helpless as Sugni leaves from the house.

Episode begins with gulabiya lying on the floor & crying desperately. She remembers how Sugni had told she will never do rai dance & a handsome guy will come from city & marry her.Gulabiya thinks she will not allow sugni to dance or become a bedini like her.
Sugni reaches the truck where the driver is waiting for her & other women welcome her,the driver chids that finally she has some brains & the other women join him.Sugni enters & sits in the truck.

They all reach Thakur's house & Sugni is in her own thoughts on how she never wanted to become a bedini.Meanwhile Gulabiya is coming running on the road to stop her but her sickness is holding her back.

Meanwhile the ladies are dressing Sugni with various ornaments. They bring her near a big mirror to show how she is looking while some tease her that all thakur's will be fida on her.Sugni is just staring at her image.The thakur's family complete the pooja.

Gulabiya comes to meet the Jwala thakur when guards doesnt allow her inside but just in time thakur comes & on the other side we see Sugni is slowly approaching the hall where main dance will take place.The truck driver comes & tells you are looking very beautiful, you will have all the men at your feet, use this chance well.

Gulabiya requests thakur for some money with hesitation when Thakur readily gives her,he asks about sugni and gulabiya praises her but tells she is not willing to do rai until today.She has gone for rai dance today & sometimes I see your image in her. Thakur gets upset & says dont compare her with me & asks if Vikram singh helped her when she was unwell & gulabiya praises Vikram, Thakur feels bad & offers more money to gulabiya & she leaves taking it.

All the women arrive in the dancing hall which is full of men & sugni stops mid way.She finally reaches centre stage & the women ask her to stand in the middle as its her first time & she will have better chance of attracting a Thakur but Sugni convinces them that she is inexperienced and will dance at the back.

The dance begins but Sugni is standing away from them.A Thakur is eyeing her & truck driver tells him to like any of the girl & he will get her for him when Sugni disappears and switches off the main power. All are worried & music & dance stops.
Sugni is climbing the chained gates and escaping when the truck driver comes & holds her leg. He tells she cant go away now. She is brought inside to do rai dance and she is in the middle of the dancing hall, the driver threatens her that if she doesnt dance he will get her whole family banned. Sugni stands helpless.
