Sugni prays to Goddesses Sita before performing the raai dance. She prays to God to take care for her respect during the performance. The Thakurs enjoy Sugni's raai dance. Gulabiya reaches the mansion and enquires with the other Bedinis where Sugni was. One of the Bedinis describes to Gulabiya how the Thakurs were mesmerized by Sugni's dance. A Thakur named Supari Singh and his aide stop Sugni and try to get intimate with her. Vikram Singh notices Supari Singh's act and questions him. Supari Singh warns Vikram Singh to stay away from his business. Vikram Singh smartly warns Supari Singh that if he tried to get intimate with Sugni, he would get insulted in the same way as Jwala Thakur's son. Concerned about his pride and prestige, Supari Singh and his aide leave from the spot. Sugni stops Vikram Singh and thanks him for saving her. She states that he was not like the other Thakurs who wanted to claim their rights on the Bednis. Vikram Singh remarks that he too felt that Sugni was different from the other girls of the village. He walks away in a huff after speaking his mind. Gulabiya manages to find Sugni in the mansion and takes her home. Gulabiya gets shocked when the other Bednis arrive at her house for Sugni's sardhakayi. Sugni hides on the terrace as she hears the Bednis celebrating her sardhakayi. The Bednis state that Gulabiya's family would soon see pleasures of life. Just then Banshukh arrives at the spot and informs the family that there were many Thakurs who were enchanted by Sugni's beauty. He adds that the family would have a problem as many Thakurs wanted to conduct Sugni's sardhakayi. Gulabiya and Sugni get the shock of their lives on hearing it.

Early in the morning, Vikram Singh's sleep gets interrupted as the Thakur, in whose house he was staying, starts complaining about the condition of the mansion. Vikram Singh learns from the head maid that Jwala Thakur had threatened the villagers not to work in the mansion. In order to improve the condition of the mansion, Vikram Singh asks the Thakur to call workers from the city. Sugni's family is excited to know that there were many Thakurs, who wanted to conduct Sugni's sardhakayi. Laxmi tries to convince Gulabiya that Banshukh was concerned about Sugni's future. She also tries to convince Gulabiya to compel Sugni to accept her sardhakayi. Gulabiya gets irritated on hearing her family. Sugni recollects the conversation wherein Vikram Singh remarked that he felt that Sugni was different from the other girls of the village. Sugni builds courage and goes downstairs. Sugni's eldest uncle and Kathari try their best to convince Sugni to accept the offer. Sugni announces that she would not follow sardhakayi. She reasons out that she was forced to perform the raai dance as Gulabiya was not keeping well. Sugni's eldest uncle requests Sugni to consider their dreams and accept the offer. Sugni replies that she too had dreams and ambitions of her own and refuses to follow the ceremony. Sugni goes to Vikram Singh's house and thanks him for showing her the right path. She informs him that she was forced to dance the other day as Gulabiya was not well. She tries her best to compel Vikram Singh to employ her. Vikram Singh readies to go for the Zilla Parishad meeting and so he leaves along with Sugni's friend Rathu who is his driver. Before leaving, Vikram Singh asks the head maid to see whether she wanted to employ Sugni. Sugni introduces herself to the head maid and tells her that she knows to do household chores. She adds that if she does not get employed her uncles would force her to follow the sardhakayi. The head maid clearly refuses to employ Sugni.

Jwala Thakur gets irritated when the Thakurain's brother Haldi Singh Thakur arrives in his mansion to meet her. Haldi Singh Thakur is the person in whose mansion Vikram Singh is put up. Before Haldi Singh could step in the mansion, Jwala Thakur stops him. Jwala Thakur threatens to kill him if he dared to enter the mansion. He asserts that he had no relation with him. Concerned about Haldi Singh's life, the Thakurain apologizes to Jwala Thakur. She states that her brother had come to give her shagun. She says that they must take the shagun or it would be inauspicious. She assures Jwala Thakur that Haldi Singh would leave once she accepts the shagun. Jwala Thakur allows the Thakurain to accept the shagun and goes inside the mansion. Haldi Singh shares his plight with the Thakurain. She states that he was forced to live in trouble because of Jwala Thakur. He explains that due to Jwala Thakur, he was forced to have bath in his backyard as no villagers were ready to repair his mansion. The Thakurain suggests that Haldi Singh must organize a gharpravesh puja and ask the Bednis to perform raai as an auspicious sign. The Thakurain assures him that she would convince Jwala Thakur to do something for him. Back at the mansion, Haldi Singh suggests that they must conduct the gharpravesh puja. Vikram Singh agrees with Haldi Singh's suggestion; However, he adds that he wants his nephew Aditya to be present during the puja. Haldi Singh comments that Aditya does not like to stay in the village and hence would not like to come here. Vikram Singh's sister Kuhu believes that Aditya would come if Vikram Singh asked him to come. Vikram Singh believes it would be difficult to convince Aditya, however if anything happened to him, Aditya would rush to visit him. Kuhu calls up Aditya and lies to him that Vikram Singh had fallen down from the terrace and fractured his leg. On hearing about Vikram Singh's injury, Aditya agrees to come. Vikram Singh and Kuhu are elated on the success of their plan. Gulabiya requests a grocer named Ramsukh to lend her grocery. Just then Jwala Thakur's aide arrives there and orders Ramsukh to give whatever Gulabiya wanted. He adds that he could add the money to Jwala Thakur's account. Gulabiya gets surprised when she learns that the Thakurain had asked Jwala Thakur's assistant to do so. Gulabiya tells the Thakurain that she should not have showed her mercy on her. The Thakurain ignores Gulabiya's statement and rages at her for coming to the mansion the other day. She adds that Sugni was plotting to trap Vikram Singh. Gulabiya gets shocked on hearing it.

In the previous episode, Gulabiya got shocked when the Thakurain commented that Sugni was plotting to trap Vikram Singh. The Thakurain asserts that Sugni was tricking Vikram Singh and hence the Thakur was supporting the Bedni's daughter. She explains that Sugni had asked Vikram Singh to take Gulabiya to the hospital. The Thakurain continues to insult Sugni and Gulabiya. Before leaving, the Thakurain warns Gulabiya to convince Sugni to stay within her limits. She orders her to stay away from Vikram Singh. Gulabiya stops the Thakurain and hands over the packet of grains which she had given her. She asserts that she was not a beggar. She states that she came to ask help from Jwala Thakur the other day as he had performed her sardhakayi. She adds that she came to ask for help as she too wore his sindoor and was related to him, though the relationship was merely physical. The Thakurain gets irritated on hearing Gulabiya's statement and leaves in a huff. When she returns home, Jwala Thakur asks the Thakurain where she had gone. When the Thakurain does not reply, he asks his assistant Tomar to answer. Tomar informs Jwala Thakur that the Thakurain had gone to meet Gulabiya. The Thakurain states that she was forced to meet Gulabiya as she had to save the family's pride and honor. In anger, Jwala Thakur asserts that it was not respectable for a Thakurain to go and meet a Bedni in the village. In order to punish the Thakurain, Jwala Thakur announces that his wife would not leave from the mansion without his permission. Sugni and her friend make preparations for the stage show they were supposed to perform in. They meet Vikram Singh on their way. Sugni invites Vikram Singh to attend the stage show. Vikram Singh politely refuses to attend as he was going to meet someone. Sugni gets distracted during the conversation. Vikram Singh believes Sugni was listening to him and decides to give him his lucky dupatta. Vikram Singh throws the dupatta in Sugni's direction and leaves. The dupatta flies in the air and lands on Sugni's head. Sugni's friend points out that Vikram Singh had performed her sardhakayi. Sugni dismisses her friend's claim. Sugni realizes that Vikram Singh always helped her whenever she required his help. She believes that her life would soon change. The story takes an interesting turn when a person dressed in western attire steps in the village.

Dressed in western attire, Aditya and his girlfriend Amrita arrive in the village. From the moment Aditya steps in the village, he cribs about the living habits of the villagers. Amrita, on the other hand, likes the lifestyle of the villagers and is looking forward to enjoy herself during her stay. At that moment, Rathu arrives and informs Aditya that Vikram Singh had sent him to pick him from the station. Aditya orders Rathu that he would drive home. He asks him to come to the mansion by himself. Sugni along with Chanda and her friends promote their stage show throughout the village. Sugni perches atop a hand cart while others push her around. On the way the car breaks down and Aditya and Amrita are forced to take a ride on cycle rickshaw. Aditya feels miserable while Amrita enjoys her journey. Sugni tells her friends that they had to return to the village. While pushing the cart in the other direction, the cart accidentally rolls down from the slope. Sugni notices a cycle rickshaw in the way and signals the passengers to move out of her way. Amrita and the driver manage to get down from the cycle, however Aditya remains back. The cart runs into the cycle and Aditya falls into a mud pit. Sugni falls on the other side of the road. Amrita, Sugni and her friends laugh on Aditya's condition. Aditya shouts at Sugni in English. Sugni utters words in a way which Aditya is unable to understand. Aditya believes Sugni was mad. He gets irritated when Sugni makes fun of him and addresses him as Kamal Singh. Lagariya rages at Tinkle as she had robbed money from her purse. Gulabiya stops Lagariya from hitting Tinkle. Tinkle confesses that she robbed money and gave it to Sugni. She reasons out that Sugni wanted money to make preparations for the stage show. Lagariya insults Sugni and asserts that because of her the family was forced to live in poverty.

The villagers believe that Sugni, who belonged to the Bedni clan, would be performing the raai dance. Sugni addressees the audience and announces that she wanted to surprise them with her performance. The audience gets amazed to see Sugni's attire. Sugni dresses up like Radha on one side and Krishna on the other. The audience enjoys and cheers Sugni as she performs. After Sugni's performance, Gulabiya along with Tinkle, Laxmi, Kathari, Lagariya and Gulabiya arrive at the venue. An excited Sugni tells Gulabiya that had they come earlier, they would have seen her performance. Gulabiya's ignores Sugni's statement and asks her from where she got money to arrange for the costume. Lagariya insults Sugni and mockingly states that Sugni compelled Tinkle to rob her money. Sugni clarifies that she never made Tinkle rob the money. She states that she safely kept the money which Tinkle gave her. She explains that she was supposed to come home and hand over the money. Sugni adds that she took money from Rathu to arrange for the stage show. On hearing the truth, Lagariya's husband shouts at her. He angrily asks her to come home. Lagariya takes the money from Sugni and leaves from the spot along with her family. While returning home, Sugni notices that Gulabiya was not wearing her silver toe rings. Gulabiya lies to Sugni that she sold the jewelry as it had become old and was hurting her. Sugni states that she knows that Gulabiya was forced to sell off the jewelry in order to run the household expenses. In anger, Sugni states that Gulabiya should not waste her money on her family who does not care about her health. Gulabiya tries to make Sugni understand the sacrifices which a woman had to make in her life. She believes Sugni's life would not be like her. Sugni assures Gulabiya that she would not only make a change but also bring about a change in her life. Gulabiya states that she trusts in Sugni. Rathu apologizes to Vikram Singh for arriving late at the mansion. He informs Vikram Singh that Aditya wanted to drive home and so he ordered him to come to the mansion by himself. Rathu informs Vikram Singh that he had saw the jeep abandoned in the middle of the road. He adds that the jeep had broken down. Vikram Singh is left concerned about Aditya. Just then Aditya, whose clothes had become dirty after falling into a mud pit, walks inside the mansion.
