ek teraa deewaanaa hai, tere dar par aaye baithaa hai

(One lover of yours, came and sat at your door)

ek tere deedaar ke khaatir jo aas lagaaye baithaa hai

(He wishes to see your glance)

kabhi fursat miley to aake dekh jaanaa is deewaane ko

(If you get lil free time,come and see your lover )

jo ab bhi teri tasveer ko seene se lagaaye baitha hai

(who is still holding your picture with him close to his heart)

tere aane se roshani hogi uski andheri is duniyaa mein

(your coming, will light his dark world)

is aas mein woh paagal har diyaa bujhaaye baithaa hai

(waiting for you, he shut every candle)

neend mein doobi aankhein uski kabse hain soyi hi nahi

(his tired eyes, did not sleep since long)

tere aane ki aas mein , woh nazrein jamaaye baithaa hai

(he is still waiting for your return)

sangi saathi bahut hain uske , rishton ki hai kami nahi

(there are many people with him, his family and friends)

tujhe apnaane ke liye har rishtaa bhulaaye baithaa hai

(to accept you, he forgot every relation)

na sonaa na chaandi maangaa , rupaya paisa maangaa nahi

(Nor gold, Nor money,nor silver he asked non of it)

bas teri mohabbat paane ko , jholi failaaye baithaa hai

(he is still waiting to achieve your love)
