What I am feeling is , he is guilty but still mehebeers proximity is affecting him. He couldn't see them together . And I even feel , he was not actually concerned for Meher every time when Abeer trying to irritate her . He might not want them to clear their problems .

He is guilt but his actions are different , he is unable handle mehbeer together, quite confusing , I am not very sure
