Kurundkar says it right, Maharashtrians would not have an iota of reservation in putting him above God. That itself says it all!!

how can they have reservations?? they consider him as Lord Shiva's Avtaar in Kaliyug...

You are welcome Rashmi 😊
Really those words are so true. Almost 350+ years but his place in Maharashtrians hearts and minds is invincible.

Anyone still making "killas" during Diwali? 😆

Devki

So true. He still rules Maharashtra ⭐️

Yes of course 😆 Killas are made every Diwali, Shivaji Maharaj's famous forts replicas and decorated with tiny statues

Making killa used to be so much fun

You are welcome Shruti 😊. If you liked reading this, you will love reading Shriman Yogi even more. I saw Diksha has already shared address and website link.

I searched on amazon and flipcart and realized that the name of translated English version of Shriman Yogi is "Shivaji the Great" writer R.Desai (though it says out of stock on amazon). I guess they changed the name cos maybe non-Maharashtrians might not realize the book is about Shivaji Maharaj. I hope you are able to get hold of the copy.

The title of Shriman Yogi is so apt though.

I also wanted to read the English version, I am curious to know how it translates in English if it has the same impact. Maybe soon.

You know when I visited Raigad I got goosebumps, it was an honor just to be able to walk on the same paths he would have walked on breath the air there. It has that timelessness
