Nandita - girl is not even gonna stay in India n she is not looking for marriage material in this show..her intellectual level is much higher than yash n they will not be happy as a couple .......Priyanka....already taken...she knows that she does not have to worry about these girls snatching her son away.

RESPECT - its two way road...i have said it earlier n i will say it again.......some1 mentioned earlier about " OUR CULTURE" i will be the first one to break ur illusion that not everything is goody goody about our culture.....i love being indian, i m proud of my culture n heritage but that does not mean that i m gonna close my eyes if there is something that is wrong....i m not saying western culture is great...both cultures have good n bad aspects ...but as we r talking about OUR INDIAN CULTURE i will give u few examples..........we r still from the same culture where sati became a tradition after ppl forgot y it was initially started; it is teh same culture where dowry is still common and girls r burnt n tortured cuz they dint bring enf; its the same culture where child marriages still happen, we r still the culture where we make fun of hermephrodites just because they r different; we r still the same culture where every 10 -15 yrs we have a huge rift/riots on name of religion; we r the same culture where we think being fair is pre req to be married in some families; we still belong to same culture where even upto this day majority of ppl think that sons carry family name and prefer sons over daughters (esp few major states); n the list can go on...............................

I m not trying to put down our culture here.........all i m saying is that dont take things for granted just because u think that it is part of a culture........respect does not only mean saying ji mummy ji, ji daddy ji etc...respect does not come from cooking food for ur MIL daily, or go n hug her everyday..it also shows if u can have healthy argument n discussion....i have the utmost respect for those ppl who i get into big discussions/debates with n they never lose their temper...they always try to see ur side of the story b4 they show their side.....u can speak for urself n stand for what u believe in, n have different point of views of everything n still get along, accept each other n love each other n still respect each other for who u r...i think gur tried to do that initially...she asked yash at couple occasions about his mother or what she can do to make her more comfortable around her.......gurpreet dint get up n started cursing yashz mom, that would have been disrespectful..............yashz mom is being disrespectful to gurpreet cuz she still has not shared the real truth y gur is not good for her son.........if she is rejecting gur, she has every right to know the REAL reason

insult level is different for every1...for some ppl one word does the trick n for some long statement dont make an effect......i m sure gur felt hurt n disrespected in this situation.......i have a lot of respect for those ppl who stand up for themselves cuz it takes a lot of courage to do so......this world will crush u into pieces if u dont stand up for urself.....

Yes She Is Too Blunt I Don't Like What She Said To Yash Mom.. 😕

There would have been some shortcoming in behaviour of both Gurpreet and Mommy Y .
And thats what we all dont know ...

Yash's mom wasn't to right in saying that she doesnt see her DIL in her .... agreed .. that she has a right to pose her personal opinion .... But you should have enough courtesy to other person's selft respect to tell the reasons why you dont like them .... and specially when you know the person has to do to with you indirectly.
And she was further wrong when she said " kyun hum vaise bhi toh kitne rishte dekhte hai , aur agar nahi pasand aaya toh doosra dekhte hai ..... " I agree thats what happens in Indian Culture ...
But she needs to realise that it isnt just going at someone's place and looking for a bride for ur son ...... Your own son has some feelings for the girl which is mutual .....
She should have told her reasons infront of yash when he came for grocerry that look thats the reasons i wont accept her as my D-I-L ... and then may be that could have made some sense to Gurpreet and she could have tried to work on those things.
There is nothing that cant be fixed with understanding and mutual effort.

Coming to Gurpreet .
A lot of you all have been saying that she was disrespected. Agreed .. that she had to put up with lot of insults directly or indirectly ... But ...
She could also have handled it more maturely , not by actions but words .

She is right to stand for herself , and being blunt is not necessarily being loud and rude .
She can still be blunt but can say things in much nicer way.

When she said " yeh kya baat huyi apni baat keh di aur chale gaye "
she could have said nicley something on the lines " mujhe bhi aapse kuch kehna hai " or " please rukiye meri baat nahi huyi "

But then again atthe end of the day we all are human .
Galati har kisi se hoti hai , what more important is that we realize and rectify
