Mom's arguing tom - Page 2

I guess somebody needs to tell Yash's mom that her son is getting married and not her.....she is more worried about how the girl will gel in the family....but she is forgetting that there has to be Love and understanding between a guy and girl....and if Yash is seeing that in Gurpreet, she should atleast give it a try....I think she is worried because she is from bombay and will not listen to her.

Yash's mom does not like gurpreet since she felt hurt that if gurpreet knew that their family does not eat any non veg food, then she should have tried to quit eating non veg or at least eaten somehwere far away from her. Also from day one, Yash mom liked priyanka and pooja and nandita, she thought that her son would give in to her choice which never happened. gurpreet knew from beginning that yash mom does noe like her so she was bit apprehensive in approaching her and I think that is natural. Who would want to go to a person who totally dislikes you or does not want to see you. I agree that gurpreet should have spoken to yash mom too, but yash mom also never tried to understand her. she only gave negative vibes to gurpreet. whenever gurpreet would ask her something sweetly, yash mom would ignore it or bluntly say that no she does not want to talk about it. In today's episode it was pretty clear that yash mom is very dominating as when yash asked her that what if his dad agrees to his choice, mommy was quick enough to reply that "you also know who he has been listening to throughout" The message was clear that she won't let yash dad comment on it and it is entirely going to be her decision. She had excuses that they have to make sure the bahu fits in the house as well as the society, Oh really, then why did she not find a perfect bahu in the society rather than coming on the show. Moreover, if yash gets eliminated, it is going to be a shame on him as well as his family too since on national tv people have seen that the mom is very dominating and who would want to give a daughter in a house where the saas is the boss and the son is just a pawn. May be the son might even need permission to talk to his wvife and may be will ask his mom too if he should have kids. Yash mom behaviour was very rude, she needs to understand that yash is 24 years old and not a 24 month toddler whom she can force to have things of her choice. what if the son totally goes against his mom and accepts the bride, then would she be ready to handle it. The way she insulted gurpreet made me feel so sorry and angry. I think that even if the mom agrees now for the alliance, still gurpreet should not advance towards yash anymore as her life would be hell if she marries in that family. It is our request to gurpreet parents not to let her get humiliated on the show. I would be totally surprised if gurpreet goes to the mom and tell her straight that they do not deserve a bahu like her since her son needs to grow out of the cradle and think beyond his mom. gurpreet, be strong you deserve much better than that coward yash.

guys i am sure yash's mom has a reason...in the end it has to be the guys and his mom's choice...and its not like she doesnt like any of the girls on the show..also may be she is giving lame reasons becasue she want to talk negative about preet (she told yash today that she doesnt want to discuss preet's negative points)

gurpreet is childish..she has talked negatively about a lot of people on the show...maybe yash's mom found out about it and is too decent to bring it up in front of people and hence she is giving lame excuses

there could me plenty of reasons for her not liking preet

I was shocked to see all the mom's ganging up on Yash's mom. One thing which was really shocking was Rajbeer's mom's statement. Even she does not like Priyanka and is trying hard for Vrinda to talk to Rajbeer. I can understand Gulabo's outburst as she thinks she has full rights over Pooja. She must not have liked Pooja talking to Yash. Gulabo has double standards. She has all the rights to have an opinion about others but others should not have one.

this makes sense to me...yash's mom has her reasons to not like gurpreet as her bahu(not otherwise).. she has right to decide for her son and he would know better if his mom should interfere.. who are outsiders to intervene ... just because gulabos want pooja does not mean she would get her(and why so much obsession with pooja).. she should check if pooja also wants to marry her son in the first place.. think pooja would easily choose yash or even raj over hitesh

I kind of feel Gurpreet is childish.. she is hardly 21-22.. she will mature over age.. but atleast she seems real.. Priyanka seems so fake and irritating.. most of the girls behave like Ms Goody TWO shoes.. which is not real.. and Yash's mom was so so insulting.. had i been gurpreet;s family.. i would intervene and ask her to reject Yash.. he isnt worth it

Agreed! Yash's mom has lived with Gurpreet and been around her way longer than Yash and Yash himself said I have only talked to her for 5 hours in total then wudn't u think she wud have a reason to dislike her..she is nice enough not to say bad things about her cause she knows she is on tv ...I agree that her way is not the best but mothers are there to guide their sons because in my expereince moms are always right ..eveytime I have gone against my mom I end up realizing she was right all along..parents know us better than we know ourselves...at least thts wht I think 😊
