Yash's mom does not like gurpreet since she felt hurt that if gurpreet knew that their family does not eat any non veg food, then she should have tried to quit eating non veg or at least eaten somehwere far away from her. Also from day one, Yash mom liked priyanka and pooja and nandita, she thought that her son would give in to her choice which never happened. gurpreet knew from beginning that yash mom does noe like her so she was bit apprehensive in approaching her and I think that is natural. Who would want to go to a person who totally dislikes you or does not want to see you. I agree that gurpreet should have spoken to yash mom too, but yash mom also never tried to understand her. she only gave negative vibes to gurpreet. whenever gurpreet would ask her something sweetly, yash mom would ignore it or bluntly say that no she does not want to talk about it. In today's episode it was pretty clear that yash mom is very dominating as when yash asked her that what if his dad agrees to his choice, mommy was quick enough to reply that "you also know who he has been listening to throughout" The message was clear that she won't let yash dad comment on it and it is entirely going to be her decision. She had excuses that they have to make sure the bahu fits in the house as well as the society, Oh really, then why did she not find a perfect bahu in the society rather than coming on the show. Moreover, if yash gets eliminated, it is going to be a shame on him as well as his family too since on national tv people have seen that the mom is very dominating and who would want to give a daughter in a house where the saas is the boss and the son is just a pawn. May be the son might even need permission to talk to his wvife and may be will ask his mom too if he should have kids. Yash mom behaviour was very rude, she needs to understand that yash is 24 years old and not a 24 month toddler whom she can force to have things of her choice. what if the son totally goes against his mom and accepts the bride, then would she be ready to handle it. The way she insulted gurpreet made me feel so sorry and angry. I think that even if the mom agrees now for the alliance, still gurpreet should not advance towards yash anymore as her life would be hell if she marries in that family. It is our request to gurpreet parents not to let her get humiliated on the show. I would be totally surprised if gurpreet goes to the mom and tell her straight that they do not deserve a bahu like her since her son needs to grow out of the cradle and think beyond his mom. gurpreet, be strong you deserve much better than that coward yash.
