Congrats @rithvik_RD The Champ of #ICDT #ICDTFinale much love
Its official @rithvik_RD Can Do That! The TV heartthrob emerges winner of @ZeeTV s reality show #ICanDoThat
I Can Do That Finale: Rithvik Dhanjani wins; Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor's Tamasha was PERFECT! http://bit.ly/1Xjfgmy
Farahn Akhtar's adventure reality show that asks people to face their fears had a solid run. Being one of a kind show, people liked it really well. It's a show that picks the coolest celebrities and challenges them. They are supposed to perform never seen before stunts which are really amazing to watch. Today, was the finale episode of the show which was simply breath taking. And the winner took away the prize. Rithvik Dhanjani won the show which didn't surprise us much.
Zee TV brought the popular international concept to Indian Television with I can Do That. The show which started on October 17, saw Farhan Akhtar playing host who initially challenged 12 popular celebs to come out of their comfort zone and learn a new skill and perform a task every week. For many who have watched the international version, the concept may not come across as unique but for the Indian audiences, it is pretty new. Every week, contestants performed intense tasks to get points and out of all of them, Gurmeet Choudhury, Rithvik Dhanjani, Madhurima Tuli and Gauahar Khan made it to the finale. Everyone performed their tasks well. But there's more that happened apart from the tasks.
Farhan Akhtar trolls Madhurima Tuli which left us in splits and then there were his PJs which split the audience into two; ones who wanted to run away and another who just wanted to vanish! But all in good fun. Tuli gets challenged with the sword act, Gauahar Khan did a spectacular Chinese Martial Arts act while Gurmeet Choudhury's acrobatic act blew our mind. But it was Rithvik's magical act which was beyond belief. No wonder he was chosen as the winner.
And in the midst of all that, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone added some much neededTamasha to the proceedings. Bharti Singh's funny mannerisms cracked everyone up. But the best part was when Farhan knelt down and dedicated an ode to Deepika! That's was simply WOW!
Proud to be a part of #ICDT season 1.Thank you @ZeeTV Didn't want the show to end so soonMissing you guys already
Congratulation to @rithvik_RD for winning the #ICanDoThatFinale #Title #Magic #Performance#Great #Deserve #Win #Brother @ZeeTV

1. Congrats! How was the experience being part of the show?
Thank you very very much! It was a delightful experience. I am full of gratitude because it is one of the most difficult shows that has been made and to be a part of the show is itself an honour. Winning the show is icing on the cake!
2. The finale had strong contenders did you anticipate your win?
Well yes all the contenders on the show were equally strong and deserving. All of the four of us had a great journey and all of us were equally deserving. All four of us actually proved that yes 'We Can Do It'. I don't think there was one strong contender - any four of us could have won the show as all four of us deserved to win.
4. One thing you learned from the show?
One thing I learnt from the show was hunger. If somebody tells me you can not do it, I will tell them wait and watch me work twice as hard to prove them wrong. I have learnt this from the show!
5. There has been a prominent shift from fiction show to reality has that been a conscious effort?
There hasn't really a conscious effort to move from fiction to nonfiction. I haven't been getting the right kind of scripts and projects in the fiction space. Nonfiction is a great space because its not that time consuming and doesn't involve years of involvement. If I have to give years of my life to a show, then it better be a good script.
6. Best memory from the show?
There are so many memories that Gurmeet and I have created. We have always been competition for each other but this is the first time when we worked together and both the acts were part of the top three acts. The experience with Gurmeet has bene great. And one experience I will never forget is performing magic in the finale was a big deal.
7. Most Challenging task?
There was not one there but there were two - the first week with the Trapeze and then the second was the semi finale task. Both were equally challenging.
8 Farhan Akhtar as a host...
Farhan Aktar is a fabulous host. He's a great persona and very positive and very helpful. There couldn't have been a better personality than Farhan Akhtar for hosting I Can Do That.
9.What next?
You will be seeing me on Zee TV again as the shoot for India's Best Dramebaaz has started.

I wanted my hard work to pay off: Rithvik Dhanjani
After winning Nach Baliye with partner Asha Negi, Rithvik Dhanjani has been crowned winner one more time for the reality show I Can Do That. The telly star beat Gurmeet Choudhary, Madhurima Tuli, Gauahar Khan to win the title. We caught up with him for a chat. Excerpts:
What was going through your mind when you won I Can Do That?
I was completely blank when I won the show. It is yet to sink in because the show was just so difficult! I have worked hard for the show; I wanted my hard work to pay off. But I didn't know if I would go on to win. And when I won, I was wondering if it is actually happening " it felt like a dream!Which was your toughest act on the show and why?
There were two really difficult acts " the aerial trapeze act and the one for the semi finale " where I had dancers mounting on my shoulders and hands.Being an actor, you cannot afford to hurt yourself because of injuries. Wasn't it risky to perform such stunts?
Yes, it is risky and there are fears of injuries but I believe that God's given you just one life and if you don't live it to the fullest, you will regret it the day you go out of this world, thinking I wish I had done that. Very few people get the chance to perform on a trapeze or do magic on stage like I did. I think one should never let go of these
opportunities for fear of injuries.Where do we see you next?
I will be immediately seen next on India's Best Dramebaaz with my friend Ravi Dubey. What do you feel about Asha taking on Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyan?
Asha was wanting to do a good fiction show for a while now and then this show came to her. I know she can never go wrong with Ekta's show. Nobody can go wrong with Star Plus and Ekta together. The last time this combination came together was for Kasautii Zindagii Kay. When Ekta decided that she wanted to replace the main cast, I am sure she had something in mind for the new cast. I completely trust Ekta's instincts. If she thought Asha was fit for the show, she has to take it up. Asha's taken the right decision and I feel the show will do very well.
