Rithvik Dhanjani to join Raghav as host of Dance+?

We had exclusively reported about Raghav Jugal, Crockroz of DID fame being roped in to host Star Plus' upcoming dance reality show Dance+ (Frames Production).

Now we have learnt that popular TV actor Rithvik Dhanjani will join the dancing sensation on the stage as a co-host.

The actor, who is currently seen hosting Nach Baliye, has a long association with dance and having gained positive response for Nach, the channel decided to retain him for its new show as well, is what we have been informed.

Shared a source, "Rithvik already has a great fan following and with the show being all about dance, he was keen to extend his hosting job for the channel."

Dance+ will be judged by Remo Dsouza while Shakti Mohan, Dharmesh and Sumeet Naggdev will mentor the contestants.

Our efforts to reach Rithvik and producer Ranjeet Thakur proved futile.

Rithvik roped in for Dance+. 🤔

When the news about Dance + came out I had a feeling Star Plus might rope in Rithvik but as he was busy shooting for Panchnama episodes his schedule must have been full. I think audition rounds must have finished by now.

I was hoping that Rithvik's next show as a host would be IBD 2. I really hope Rithvik hosting Dance+ does not dampen his chances of hosting IBD 2. 😒

Rithvik to join Raghav as host on 'Dance Plus'

Rithvik Dhanjani has been roped in to host the dance reality show 'Dance Plus' with Raghav Juyal. According to sources, Rithvik will join as a host on the dance show from the third episode after he finishes hosting 'Nach Baliye'. The makers had wanted a female host, but could not find someone appropriate and so roped in Rithvik who is a great dancer as well. Raghav who is hosting the show, said, "I am passionate about dancing and this show promises to be different from the usual reality shows." When we contacted Rithvik he remained unavailable for comment.

After hosting the celebrity couple dance reality show 'Nach Baliye', Rithvik Dhanjani seems to have become one of the most sought-after actors to host non-fiction shows. It was earlier reported that he would be seen hosting another dance reality show 'Dance +' on Star Plus. However contrary to the reports, we have been informed that the actor is not part of it. Our source informs us, "Due to some creative differences as well as date clashes, Rithvik couldn't take up Dance +. The show may see a different female anchor each week and the makers may just rely on their permanent anchor - Raghav." Rithvik has been on a back-to-back anchoring spree with 'Nach Baliye', 'DID North America', 'Ishq Siyappa Ka', 'Distractions', etc. His girlfriend Asha Negi also made her debut as a host with the ongoing music reality show 'Indian Idol Junior'.
