Shakti Arora to play the lead in Ekta Kapoor's next on Colors

Ekta Kapoor's next show on Colors " tentatively titled Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi " has got its male lead.

The show, set in a Gujarati backdrop, will feature actor Shakti Arora in the lead role. The actor was seen in Pavitra Rishta opposite Asha Negi. Incidentally, Kinshuk Mahajan of Bidaaifame too was in the race, but Shakti bagged the role.

Says a source closely associated with the show, "Apart from Shakti, actors Vikram Kochar and Amita Chowksi have been finalised to play a couple in the show."
Despite repeated attempts, we couldn't reach Shakti for comment.

Wow. This is nice. Finally he got a show of his own. Good for him.👍🏼

This is one thing I like about Ekta. She keeps an eye on even the side actors/supporting actors, their work and how they are being perceived by her audience. If they show promise, she gives them a bigger chance. So many of her leads started from supporting roles or smaller roles in her serials.

so truely said...i actualy agree wid u on dis point...ekta has always gvn a chance to develop all her actors 😳

He deserves the lead role.. always knew he will do wonders...

even though all the characters he has portryed till now, he has done excellently but my favourite was the character that he played In tere liye and Pavitra rishta.. Tapush and Dr. Onir stole millions of hearts..

keep conmtinuing your good work Shakti arora.. we all love u..

Now just hoping even shruti kanwar bags a lead role in ekta mam's show..

TFS..Is Ekta going to start 2 shows on Colors??Because,I read an article on TB that Mohit Sehgal is doing Ekta's show on Colors..Anyways,looking forward to watch Shakti in a new avtaar. :)

no its the same show for whch at first mohit was selected 😳
