I do not want Ankita to fight this battle..This is Mansi''s battle and she should have been the one to be vocal abt it. Instead she is now keeping mum and will pretend nothing ever happened...All the proofs which she has now semen in her vagina, possible Public hair-DNA evidence on her body-clothes. She already has so many phonecalls-txt msgs from Raunak's cell to her. Plus if Ankita sees a out going txt from her phone to Mansi to come meet her on the terrace. On top of that Kinnari was told by raunak that he had SR with Mansi.

The guy not only rapes one woman but blackmails another one with his BS...This is how men in India get away with henious crimes.

If Fekta has any brain, sense, conscious and humility she would handle this track properly. Raunak should be arrested, mansi should report this rape and get herself cked by OBGYN for the rape..and give out her statement abt Raunak's harassment to her.

Lets see what Fekta does...Ankita was so stupid she could not see her lil sister crying, wet, no jewelry on her body on the eve of her own sangeet. WHile Ankita-Naren were being romantic inside..I sometimes feel Nren-Ankita scenes are out of place and not required at times..They can have their own time but not when it is someone else's wedding or sangeet or sad event..

If it is clear that Mansi was raped, then Zee TV should drop the show immediately. I think there can be pressure of some kind put on the producers. There is no excuse for this. ESPECIALLY in India where these terrible things are happening.

Even even if it turns out otherwise, i.e. no rape, the whole idea of rape, as i said earlier, has already been made a highlight of the show. Glorifying it as an important event.

What's wrong with the actors? They should have refused enmasse to do this. I can't imagine that condoning and emulating rape was part of their contracts !

I really hope that is the case. But he told mansi before he left, that he had stolen her izzat and raped her.
Today's episode was out of place in everything. How can a girl go missing for more than two minutes on the day before her wedding without anyone noticing how long she has gone for? It makes no sense.

Dabulls, I agree. As much as I like naren and ankita story, some of their romance is totally out of place. That time that they wasted in romancing should have been the time to ask 'Where is mansi? How long has she been gone?'

One thing. I got the feeling that mansi was unconscious during the ordeal.

Well there is .00000000000009 % chance of Mansi being unconscious and Raunak himself believes he raped her but he really did not. He was awefully drunk...But but he did say he took Mansi's izzat.

I hate hate hate these Indian serials show "Chhote log & Middle class, Chawl people" etc such doragatory comments which is a total uncalled for and discriminatory langage.

Well I think that's just left to individual interpretation.

Maansi wasn't in that scene where he tells her that he raped her, She was supposedly just out of frame.
So it's left ambiguous. She could have been raped but like you said .0000009% chance that she wasn't even out of frame and had already left to go downstairs. Her 'what just happened to me?' question could simply be a question of why is this happening to me, and the nightmare could have been because she genuinely feels that she might be raped in the future.
Or she WAS out of frame and she was unconscious.
Or raunak really did rape her.

Who knows eh? I think ekta left it to that just in case she wants to change the story line at the last moment. Maybe to bring some random baby in.

All I know is raunak was drunk out of his mind, so upon waking up, how would he have known every little bit of detail of the encounter?

I have not watch today's episode as yet but I am hoping for your thoughts/suggestions to be real and what happened. If its not, then I dont know how to describe this entire storyline. I am disgusted with it. These children are poor. They grew up that way, cant they show that they make it in life, they went to school and had good upbringing etc. How can misfortune fall on them. Dont they deserve happiness. One sister is married in a home that treats her terrible and now the other has been raped by her sister's brother in law. Its ridiculous

There is excuse for this as it is not illegal to show rape in Indian TV shows. Make the law first then blame the producers. There is no value of emotional statements in reality.

Also if they make that kind of law, they have to ban showing of many hit films like Amitabh Bachchan's "Aakhree Raasta". Not really a good idea.

I agree, Its as if they are glorifying the issue rather than really trying help in the process. Loads of young people look at this serial, what sort of influence are you portraying to the society. Its a serial and all of that but real people look at it and form their own conclusions. Couldn't Mansi save herself from the dilemma?
