there was NOTHING wrong in hiding the pregnancy , it's Ovi's baby she chose to not disclose it , SO WHAT?

I don't understand it , if Purvi hid the fact she is good but Ovi is evil

Ovi was independant and able to take care of the baby on her own

her dad even gave her resources to spend and take care of herself then

If Ovi told anyone she was pregnant they would force her to give her marriage a try etc etc

more than that she knew Arjun would never be able to commit to her and she didn't want to burden him

Ovi's fault...everything...let me start the count😛

The moment Ovi put that invisible gun on the amar premis, her list of faults started. No, wait, her fault was that she was Arjun's childhood friend. How dare she, right?😉

Now let me tell you, her greatest fault. She tried to follow in the footsteps of the Mahan Atma with the 24 carat halo. Let me elucidate - she plays the same bhalaayi game of not telling her pregnancy news to Arjun that Purvi (her guru btw😉) perfected😃. I mean, think about it. Ovi is no Purvi, so how dare she think of not telling her pregnancy news - or think that news might/will halt Arvi's wedding - and that she wanted to do bhalaayi for a change 😃(I guess return the favor 😉), same as Purvi never disclosed her unwedded pregnancy nor published news about her love child (now, is that acceptable??😉). Well, when Purvi does it, only her intentions are pure bhalayii, but, hey when Ovi tries to play the same game - well, then Ovi is at fault, no question asked. Makes sense...yes of course😊

If Purvi is forgiven for hiding the truth of Pari's paternity then it would be fair to only extend the same courtesy to Ovi. But the double standard is clear.

I havent applied a double standard here tho. i wrote isn't ovi the "real" one out of them? The one who doesn't do bhalayi? So why didn't she tell her truth? Why wasn't she honest? She wanted this honesty from Arvi so why wasn't she honest when it came to her turn?

I haven't denied Ovi the courtesy. I've simply asked why isn't Ovi being stoned (not literally) now for keeping such a secret like Purvi was?

And in terms of Purvi "poking her nose". Purvi left to Calcutta when she knew she was pregnant. It was Ovi who was hell bent on killing her child that brought Arjun to Onir & Purvi's doorstep in Calcutta. I mean how is it Purvi's fault that Arjun showed up at her doorstep in Calcutta? How is it Purvi's fault that her husband is the only doctor that can help poor Ovi?

It was then that Purvi came back and tried to be the "fixer" again. It may be"poking her nose" but I call it trying to be the foolish fixer. At least her heart was in the right place.

And lastly as for Arvi's love and trust... the story has yet to unfold. Let's wait till we get the 411 before we continue the bashing eh? 😉

ovi didn't want to do bhalai for Purvi

She wanted to do bhalai for herself and Arjun

She loved Arjun and finally she understood love isn't snatching

she let him go and she also wanted to start living her own life

Exactly! Also, Arjun clearly told Ovi that had he known about Pia in advance he would never have left Ovi and married Purvi, so the much awaited reunion wouldn't even have happened. So Ovi is blamed for hiding the very truth that enabled Arjun and Purvi to reunite.

And neither one of them are saints, so why is the entire blame always shifted on Ovi? If Ovi placed the deal, Purvi and Arjun accepted the deal knowing the repercussions, so they are all to blame equally. Ovi is the only one of the trio that has acknowledged her mistakes, seeked apology and tried to rectify them. I haven't seen Purvi or Arjun ever acknowledge their mistakes. Did Purvi ever say sorry for the baby swap and disposing Ovi's stillborn? Never. She just tried to give useless reasons about why she did it. Did Arjun apologize to Ovi for doing an engagement with her with no intention of marrying her while running behind Purvi? Did he apologize for keeping her in the dark about Purvi all the time when she was waiting for him in Canada? Not that I remember. They are busy finding a scapegoat to place the blame on or another more scandalous thing that will shift the focus of the debate. When Pari's truth came out at the party, Arjun instead of being ashamed that this secret was out in public, he proceeded to hit Mittal for revealing the truth via the CD before they had a chance. Why would the family's reaction have been different if they had revealed the truth? Would the family cry tears of happiness that the man who has married the daughter of the house also has a child with the sister and the stillborn child has been replaced by their pyar ki nishani? And when Purvi was ostracized by the family, conveniently Onir did his natak at the same time and she pulled a missing stunt. The family forgot her kaand, and focused on Onir's issue instead.

In Ovi's case she was independent in Canada. Ovi knew if she mentioned the baby, Arjun would start his fake concern with the baby, and would run after Ovi to fix the marriage.

Ovi did plan to raise the baby on her own. That's the reason she didn't tell anyone about it. How did she even know Arjun would come at her doorstep because he thought he already had a home and didn't feel like staying in a hotel 😆

My point is that why couldn't Ovi tell Arjun that listen I'm pregnant and I want this baby but I do not want you. I want a divorce. You can come see this child but I will keep full custody etc? Ovi always called the shots. Arjun was running after her for so long to maintain their relationship and she didn't budge so why would she budge when she knew she was pregnant?

yeah she doesn't so why not be honest? especially since she played a major hand in reuniting them? why not say, oh btw, I have a kid with you arjun in Canada... just so you know... yeah.

Wait so purvi was wrong for hiding pari truth but ovi wasn't for hiding pias truth bc ovi didnt want arjun etc? Did you think for a moment that Purvi may have wanted to raise pari alone?

Fact is they were BOTH wrong!

Btw- purvi didnt hide the stillborn. If memory is right... Purvi never even saw the stillborn. She didnt swap the babies either. Onir did. She only made the decisions and called the shots. Not to say she was right but i mean if you gonna make a pretty list like that of purvis wrong might as well think it out and label them bad boys correctly...

Not worshiping the alter of Saint Purvi does not equate to bashing her.

An opinion is an opinion and NOT unnecessary bashing as it may perceived to be.

If Ovi had indeed revealed Pia's truth before Arjun/Purvi wedding, I would bet a million bucks (metaphorical million bucks 😆) that she would still be considered evil and condemned for interfering with the reunion of the Amar Premis of the 21st century.

Can you imagine the uproar if Ovi did reveal the truth and it stopped the "divine reunion" of Arjun and Purvi?

With Ovi it's "damned if you do and damned if you don't".
