We cannot base his lack of love or not on one scene when he was shown to kiss Pari after he found out she was his and Purvi's. it mighty have been relief that he had at least one surviving child. Yes, injustice was done to Ovi because she could not bring proper closure to her grief about her baby but that cannot be called as criminal act.

I had a live-in maid years back and when my maid lived abroad with me when her husband with whom she was estranged that time, passed away. Her family kept it a secret from her for a year as they did not want her to go through mental trauma when she was abroad. She came to know only after she left to India after she finished her contractual obligations. What the family did was good or bad but you cannot argue that it was criminal.
