deshmukh's were totally unfair to ovi. they just heard what purvi told them and believed in it. they didnt even gave ovi a chance to speak i think. archu was always partial towards purvi. but she had brainwashed manav it seems. else he won't leave ovi like that.

She could have gotten herself out of the mess completely by just saying yes she's pregant and no she doesn't want to be with arjun. she could have raised pia herself as she planned.

Exactly! If Ovi told the truth about the baby, ArVi wouldn't be in this mess. Ovi wanted to tell Onir's truth, but why not tell her truth too? Instead, she hide her secret. The family had the right to know & Arjun & Purvi had the right to know as well.

The D family always forgave Ovi and ignored her misdeeds, but this time, they really gave it to her & rightfully so!

Yep! Another great point! She wanted to find out about onir but not reveal her own truth.

Many had said purvi should have said something about her pregnancy when she found out. I think similarly ovi should have been honest about her pregnancy to arjun especially since they were still married. Ovi called all the shots when it came to the Arovi divorce so why wouldn't ovi call the shots when it came to pia? Shes independent in that sense and very stubborn about her way so i doubt her telling the truth would have caused her any harm.

If Purvi "knew how sensitive Arjun and Ovi's relation was" she would not have constantly poked her nose in their business.

Purvi was pregnant with Pari yet still interfered at every chance she got. Everything you said could have applied to Purvi too. She too hid Pari's truth.

At least Ovi kept herself away. She wanted nothing to do with Arjun and Purvi. She just wanted to live with her baby. It's not her fault Arjun showed up at her doorstep. Who does that?! Show up at ex-wife's place without any notice?

I agree that Arjun as the father deserved to know. However, what about Purvi not having any trust and faith in Arjun? Is that how strong their "love" was? She didn't even give him a chance to explain after everything he did for her and how much he claimed to love her!

If Purvi is forgiven for hiding the truth of Pari's paternity then it would be fair to only extend the same courtesy to Ovi. But the double standard is clear.

Purvi hiding pregnancy = GOOD and BHALAYI!
Ovi hiding pregnany = BAD and EVIL!

You know what is pathetic about this situation is that it has nothing to do with the characters, it has more to do with ekta kapoor and her writers, they wanted to create drama and found the most ridiculous, unbelievable and laughable way to get it done.

Just think about it, this is purvi we are talking about. What do we know of her, do you really think she believed arjun cheated on her. It is too beneath her to have such jealous feelings especially of her sister who she initially sacrificed so much for and loves dearly.

Ovi did what was best and there is lots of difference between what she did and what purvi did regarding the baby matter. Infact I would even take it one step further and say Purvi's lie was self serving, idiot, and destructive.

What a shame purvi turned out to be a mother of fools in all this, ekta made her one and no one will forgieve her. Everything could have been justified, what archana did all those years ago regarding Soham her heart was in the right place, even purvi giving up arjun was for a good reason even if it was foolish, ovi forcibly wanting to marry arjun she is not evil so it is ok, but not this because it is plain cruel. If purvi has been cruel to Arjun how can it be pavitra rishta. Even at the lowest point of archana and manav relationship I never thought they were cruel to each other, even when manav left her I thought it was justified because their son died because of her stupididty and marriages can end over this it is very realistic.

To summarize Arvi should not get back together. Purvi's real punishment is when she finds out the real truth and wants to get back with Arjun, he tell her to get lost.
