here the thing. i think it was perefectly acceptable for manav to yell at soham, especially considering what soham was about to do (disgusting btw). however, manav has never ever yelled ovi, teju, sachin or even purvi in such a manner. i hate how he holds double standards with soham. all the other kids can do such wrong and not get the yelling that soham got today but soham who refused to take manav double standard crap and actually talks back is subjected to such treatment. what a fail at equal parenting

agree with you completely. I don't even know what is the point of his character anymore. He is so irrelevant to the show. All he does is scream. Why didn't he just die due to the bullet. I wanted to see Archana handling her family by herself.

Agree.
The story was going well earlier and they could have shown Manav becoming more accepting of Soham. Instead, it looks like this new totally off-putting track will pull them even more apart.

Do they want to kill the character of Soham in the end? The way his character is developed now, cannot win any love or affection.

Maybe someday we will stop using the word stepchild as a bad thing.
But you guys honestly believe whatever mistakes Ovi, Teju, Purvi, Sachin did in the past is the same as kidnapping one of his daughters, putting her life in danger and shooting his wife and putting her in a coma?
Soham deserves all the yelling he gets. Manav has no reason to trust him and after looking at Soham's current behavior he is absolutely right in not trusting him.

Yes, Manav and Archana have both failed miserably in rehabilitating Soham.
Just lecturing him abt reform and hard work isnt going to help him in any practical way!

Why the hell didnt they start educating him? Why not give him some job (any job) at Manav's company? So he feels accepted and worthwhile?
Basically Soham feels neglected and inferior to Sachin, to the rest of Deshmukh family and they treat him as such!
Its this hurt ego that has turned him into a sociopath and obsessive lover! If he had a worthwhile life, he would not be obsessing so much with Gauri.
Manav never yelled at Ovi when she did all those terrible things like deal marriage and drinking during pregnancy! He didnt yell this much at Sachin after he found out how he had lied and conspired to separate Manav from Archana!
I hold Armaan responsible for whats happening with Soham now.
I believe if Soham had stayed with Varsha he would still be the nice young man that he was becoming after coming out of jail.

where Manav and Archana are wrong is that they are not educating Soham .Otherwise I am very glad that Manav caught Soham talking to Balan and he put two and two together .
Because of this Soham will not commit a huge crime now .I hope Soham realizes his mistake and will not get influenced by balan anymore .
Varsha should kill Balan .It is because of her that Balan came in Soham's life ...😡

Well I think Manav was ok to yell at Soham as Soham did a really wrong thing by going along with Balan's plans that was really wrong of Soham to be ok with Sachin being kidnapped but I have also noticed Manav seems to lose it with Soham a lot. He is definitely much harder on Soham then he is with any of his other children and that's not really fair. I know Soham is doing wrong with Gauri and Sachin etc but if ArMan keep scolding him that he has not reformed that wil only put him more down. Manav shud have been a little more calm in the way he spoke to Soham, he is his son, not his enemy! When Manav scolds his other children, he is scolding them in a nice loving way but it seems he is always yelling in hatred at Soham.

or the (possible) fact of forcing a girl in marriage, under the guise of her honewala Husband. That is even true for such a 'cute' 'Sweet' ' true' lover boy Soham. Real life stories are replete in India, where a girl refuses a person and acid is hurdled at her next day, if not acid - deceiving her to marry him (just like Soham's plan) or...er... rape her. Ekta does show reality sometimes. I am glad, Manav shows better instincts that his airheaded wifey darling...

While I agree Manav has been harsh with Soham compared to his siblings, Soham did not help matters with his latest actions. Manav after months of judging Soham was finally coming around, he started trusting him and was proud of him but Soham broke that trust because he is selfish and I'm glad he got caught.

As for who is to blame there are plenty at fault for that, Varsha for bringing Balan into their lives, Manav for not accepting Soham sooner and now Archana who should've slapped him for how he forcefully held Gauri against the wall. There is still time for some redemption from all three by putting a stop to Soham's obsession and not giving him any chance to ruin Sachin and Gauri's wedding.
