Next scene:
Episode begins with Gauri sitting with a prayer thaali, waiting outside a flower shop at a marketplace outside a temple.
Sachin arrives there and apologizes many times, saying hes sorry hes late inspite of calling her to meet him there, because he had to drop off Aaji and Teju somewhere and they insisted...
Gauri says its okay, hes not THAT late!
Sachin sits down beside her and stares at her. Her dupatta had fallen down on one side, he lifts it and puts it back on her shoulder. Gauri thanks him, They look awkwardly at each other.
Gauri asks Sachin what he wanted to say to her.
Sachin tells her their marriage got fixed so suddenly, they didnt get the chance to talk to each other separately, actually he wanted to know if she was happy with this rishta? Modern girls want to choose their own life partner but in her case, its been the opposite, so he was wondering if she was comfortable with it?
Gauri answers him that if she wasnt happy with the rishta, she wouldnt have agreed to it. Because she has full faith in her parents' choice. They have chosen the best for her!
Sachin is pleased, he smiles.
Gauri points to a sacred tree where devotees were offering prayers. Gauri tells him that her mother told her if anyone made a wish on that tree, it always came true.
Gauri and Sachin go towards the tree to offer their prayers.
Soham comes to the same marketplace to deliver groceries to a shop.
Gauri hands over the prayer thali to Sachin and she ties a red sacred cloth on the tree. Soham spots them and stares at them as Sachin holds Gauri's hand while shes tying the chunri on the tree. They offer prayers at the sacred tree with incense, while Soham looks furious to see them together.
He leaves in fury, and marches straight into a bar, orders them to serve him alcohol!
Barwala asks him, Why Lala, now you're drinking during daytime too?
Soham glares at him and roughly tells him to do what hes told!
He asks for another drink!
Soham drinks and remembers Gauri telling him she didnt tell him abt Sandeep because she didnt want Visnu Lala inside him to return. He remembers Gauri telling him she didnt love him and never gave him any indications that she did either as she didnt have any feelings in her heart for him.
Soham drinks more and remembers Archana telling Sachin that shes happy to make Gauri her bahu and she was sure Sachin and Gauri's pairing would be great!
Soham orders another drink angrily, then remembers Manav saying that Sachin and Gauri are perfect for each other!
The bar guy serves him another peg, and asks Soham what hes doing, that if he drank so much then the alcohol will go straight to his head!
Soham orders him angrily to bring the whole Bottle instead of serving small pegs!
Soham drinks more and remembers Sachin and Gaurii getting engaged. The bar guy gives him a whole bottle of alcohol (looked more like mustard oil to me)
Soham starts drinking from the bottle,he remembers Sachin and Gauri together at the sacred tree.
Meanwhile a guy who has followed Soham from the marketplace comes to the bar, hes calls Balan and tells him that it looks like a matter of a girl. Lala had gone near a temple and he saw that Doctorni with another guy, he got upset and left from there, now hes drinking like crazy at a bar! You come here quickly!
Balan tells him to keep an eye on Soham, hes coming there right away!
2nd scene:
Mittal is driving somewhere, a guy in the car with him tells him theres 10-12 acres of property there, Mittal shd go there and talk to the owner.
Mittal agrees and the agent tells him he can meet the owner only at a particular place. Mittal agrees and they drive on.
Mittal and the agent come to the same bar where Soham is drinking without control. Mittal rebukes the agent why he brought him to such a seedy place. The agent tells him the property guy would be there only. Mittal asks where is the guy? Agent goes to search for him.
Mittal spots Soham drinking at a table, hes surprised and thinks, Punni had told him Soham had reformed but it appears hes still the same!
Mittal gives an evil smile and says he would have to do something! That Manav Deshmukh is suffering from illness, so if I dont take advantage of this situation, then I will suffer! Let me call and ask him how hes doing...
Mittal calls Manav who is sitting at home with Savita and Archana. Hes surprised to get Mittal's call.
Mittal greets him in an oily manner, and asks him how his mental state is...how his health was?
Manav tells him sarcastically, You are not that decent that u will call me to ask abt my health so come to the point straightaway!
Mittal tells him, Manav and his family always think hes upto no good, but actually hes a well-wisher of the family! Anyway, he will come to the point and wanted to tell Manav that he had gone to Ramnagar to finalize the deal for a slum area, theres a country bar in a dinghy lane and there he saw Manav's son Soham drinking
Manav says So what?
Mittal tells him, The son of such a rich and famous businessman is drinking alcohol in a grimy country bar like that? And it doesnt matter to you?
Manav gets upset!
Mittal continues, Deshmukh Sir, hes your son, if someone recognizes him as ur son, what will people say? You know how media people are, they can go anywhere with their cameras, if they come to know, then your reputation will be in the dust!
Manav is getting angrier!
Mittal says he had heard Soham had reformed but it doesnt seem as such from looking at him...
Manav gets up suddenly and yells, what nonsense you are telling?
Savita and Archana get up and try to calm him down.
Mittal tells him, his words may seem nonsense, if Manav doesnt believe him, he can come and see for himself, how his son is completely drunk! Nobody appreciates a do-gooder nowadays, so he will hang up now!
Manav is furiously yelling at him but Mittal hangs up with an evil chuckle!
Mittal says he has lit the fire, now he wants to see how much Manav Deshmukh gets burnt in the fire! But how will he find out abt this? Punni of course!...Mittal laughs nastily.
Archu is asking Manav what happened!
Manav furiously yells, that Mittal is saying all nonsense, that Soham is at a bar and drinking like anything! That my son has not reformed at all! I will go right now and show him!
Archana tries to calm him down, tells him you know Mittal how he is, hes just trying to upset you, dont take tension...
Manav says vehemently, No Archana! I have to go there myself and prove him wrong! My son cannot do such a thing! I wont leave him.
Savita and Archana try to hold Manav from both sides and control his anger but hes struggling.
Savita tells him, our Soham has reformed, that Mittal is a complete scoundrel, dont pay attention to his nonsense.
Manav doesnt listen and turns to leave! Savita screams suddenly in pain and collapses on the couch, holding her leg. Manav and Archu both rush to her! Archana says we have to call the doctor!
Savita signals to her that shes pretending, Archu nods. She rushes inside to get meds, while Manav calls the dotor as he attends to Savita's foot.
Next scene:
Purvi brings lunch to Arjun's office.
Arjun sits down on the couch and sighs, he tells her if she didnt bring food, he would have forgotten to eat!
Purvi laughs and says she knows that.
Arjun tells her this reminds him of something, guess what?
Purvi asks What?
Arjun says when he worked at the garage, she used to bring food for him and they would eat it together!
Purvi says, theres a big difference between those times and the present. Now we are married! We have a sweet little baby! And we need to rush through these things and go home and attend to her!
Arjun sighs and eats with relish.
Purvi tells him, by offering a job to Shalini, he did a good thing.
Arjun says, he needed to ask her something, did she notice Shalini and Onir?
Purvi doesnt understand what hes saying.
Arjun says, I mean Shalini was so happy and excited to get a job here, didnt u feel her excitement and happiness was special?
Purvi said, Yes, Arjun, I also felt something...
Arjun said, hes not too sure but he felt that Shalini had some feelings for Onir..
Purvi smiles happily, Actually? If this is true, then its such a great thing! Onir would get such a nice life partner! Their pairing would look great!
Arjun says, You're right! And she did so much for Onir, she took such a big risk, posing as Onir's wife, still she helped him! But who will talk to Onir abt this?
Purvi said she will talk to Onir.
Arjun is surprised, Really? He looks happy when purvi nods and affirms. They eat lunch together happily.
Arjun asks Purvi if she talked to Soham abt the trip.
Purvi is apologetic that she didnt get time to talk to Soham, but as soon as theyre done with eating, she will call Soham.
At the Bar:
Soham is completely drunk! Hes still thinking abt him and Gauri sharing an umbrella in the rain, Gauri pulling him out of the train, Gauri bandaging his arm in the forest...
Soham is muttering that Gauri betrayed him, she pulled him close, then kicked him away! If she didnt love him, then why did she come close to him?
Soham is crying bitterly as he drinks, he says, Then she says she doesnt love him! SHE DOESNT LOVE HIM! He yells and angrily flings his glass on the floor and breaks it!
The bar owner comes rushing, yells at him, why is he breaking glasses? Its not his father's property!
Soham orders him to shut up and bring an orange.
Bar ownder angrily tells him to pay for his drinks and the broken glass!
Soham says what will he do if he doesnt pay?
Bar owner threatens to throw him out!
Soham says, youre threatening ME?
He grabs the bar owner's collar and beats him up! Everyone is watching.
Balan enters the bar, he also watches Soham beat up the guy. Before Balan can go to Soham, Archana enters the bar and yells SOHAM! LET HIM GO!
Soham lets go of the guy, Balan hides behind his henchman when he sees Archu.
Archu covers her nose with her pallu from the stench of alcohol, and goes to Soham, who mumbles an excuse that it wasnt his fault as the guy wasnt serving him alcohol.
Archu slaps him hard! She drags his hand, telling him to leave from there. But Soham sits down on a chair. Archu berates him, Look what u have done to yourself! Did I live to see this day? What did u do to yourself!
She covers her eyes and cries...Didnt u think abt ur father even once? Your Baba is ill, and yet...Why are u silent? Say something?
She pushes a silent Soham, Balan is watching from behind his henchman. Archu drags Soham by his arms and forces him to get up! She takes him out of the bar.
Balan observes the whole drama and says, Whats happening here? Cant understand ...but whatever it is, will benefit us only.
His henchmen are all there, looking at him. He tells one of them to find out abt the girl whose name Soham was muttering when he was drunk! Find out everything abt her! But I think its the same girl we had kidnapped before! But still I want to make sure!
He laughs with an evil look.
Next scene:
Soham is sleeping at Sulochana Aaji's home. Archu sits beside him and is watching him sleep, she looks very worried.
Sulochana comes there, gives Archu a cup of tea.
Archu tells her that its good she brought Soham there, had she taken him home then ...
Sulochana says, I know, its also good that Varsha is out of town now for her work, if she had seen Soham in this condition, she would have been very upset.
Archu says, she cant say how upset she is, how can Soham behave like this?
Sulo says, but Archu Soham had left all this!
Archu tells her she doesnt know why Soham is behaving this way? He was fine before, a few days ago, he was enjoying with his family, laughing, playing games...talking, doing everythin. I dont know what problems hes having...But I just feel something is very wrong!
Sulo tells her, Dont worry, tomorrow Ganapati Bappa is coming so everything will be alright!
Manju is overhearing their conversation from a window and she thinks aloud with a grimace, Oh God! Again everything is back to where it was before...This was bound to happen one day, its not enough to be born in a good family, upbringing shd be good too! For years, he got bad values, how will he forget those so easily? I had predicted before that Soham will never reform! He was a goon before and he will always remain one! These people are wasting their time trying to reform him!
Archu wipes her tears and tells Sulochana that shes going home now and asks Sulo to take care of Soham.
Sulo tells her to go and not worry abt Soham at all as she will take care of him. And tomorrow they all have to come to her house for dinner.
Archana agrees and leaves.
Deshmukh chawl:
Doctor leaves after giving Manav a prescription for Savita, saying she had a mild sprain and will be alright soon. Manav takes it and hes pacing around, waiting for Archana.
She enters and he starts questioning her where she had gone, why she went without telling anyone?
Where is Soham? What happened?
Archu says she had gone to see Soham and hes alright! Everything is as we had thought, that Mittal was lying! Our Soham can never do wrong. I know that guy is a liar but...
Manav grabs the phone angrily, that he will show that Mittal!
Archu snatches the phone and tells him theres no need to call Mittal, let things be...you will call and there will be more arguments, dont take any tensions., now Mittal wont do anything, dont worry...
Manav says, he will teach Mittal a lesson, how dare he?
Archu said she has already taught a lesson to Mittal! Dont worry...
she pacifies Manav and asks Manav how Aai is doing.
Manav says Aayi is okay, doctor has told her to rest..
Archu says, let me go and see Aayi..
Manav stops her, telling her Ayi needs to rest so meet her later...we have to get these medicines..
Archu takes the prescription from him, makes Manav sit and tells him not to worry, shes there and she will look after everything, he shd not be tense.
Manav tells her hes worried abt Soham, the background hes coming from, theres reason to worry...
Archana looks upset and nervous, hiding the truth from Manav...
PRECAP:
Manju is telling someone, its Ganesh Chaturthi, theres a Puja in the house and just look at him! Hes lying there drunk! Not even aware of anything! Soham has changed! What rubbish! Hes not changed at all! He was a goon, he will always be a goon!
Manav overhears Manju and looks angrily at Archana who is in the kitchen!
Ovi is saying to the viewers that her mother is her whole world! Agreed that their views dont match, but they understand each other very well! But I dont know why Ami always says that nobody ever understands her? This puzzle will be solved on the new show Khelti hai zindagi Ankh Micholi on Zee TV HD at 9:30 pm.
