I don't think anyone has glorified Arjun. I don't think it's gone unnoticed that Arjun has made a lot of mistakes. Similarly the mistakes of ovi hasn't gone unnoticed either.

Yes, ALL 3 have made mistakes! And we admit and recognize that! But Ovi certainly isnt the sainted, haloed suffering creature that shes been made out to be! She is the one who set the ball rolling with her obsessive fixation on Arjun so she is the 2nd villain in the younger generation after Punni! And she paid for her sins!
If she had backed out then and let Arjun be happy with Purvi, then THAT would be a real sacrifice worth applauding!
But her departure now is one year too late! Now finally shes realized her folly that she cannot force Arjun to love her! Her leaving is NOT a sacrifice! Its a realization that Pari and Purvi will always be a part of Arjun's life!

I am not saying that sulochana is problem free...but all she wanted was to get archana married to a well established guy...that is not too much to ask for...is it?
In real life, I know somebody who wanted to marry a rich guy, so she married a rich guy whose father (girl's FIL) kept a mistress at home and the husband also used to go a visit call girls...her family when came to know all these, wanted a divorce, but the girl was preggo, so no divorce, now 2 kids and still married...how the married life...I don't know. anyway, I gave this example to say that it is not sure what you will get in life if you marry a rich guy, but that's all sulochona wanted. There was no reason to lie...well if you know savita, no other explanation needed.
For manav, it was LOVE...he loved archana before marriage...but he wasn't aware that archana's family doesn't know that he is a mechanic.

Well what is definition of sacrifice in dictionary of ovi and shravani?
First they force them on others and then after creating mess they move out of it safely and we call it SACRIFICE. Really?

Its not sacrifice, finally she realized that she cant get love of arjun at any cost. She safely moved out of this mess. After creating havoc she must be sleeping peacefully in Canada and we call it SACRIFICE.

Its not sacrifice, its sharp mind. She cunningly entered in arjun's life and safely out of it when she realized now she cant get favorite toy arjun.

I am feeling like to open temple for Sacrifice ki devi Ovi. Lol.

All I would say is in respect to Arman-Shravani track,I believe Shravani always knew that if needed Arman can any time re-unite before their divorce happened as Arman were still married legally at that time but they choose not to for Shravani and her unborn child sake.
Shravani was for Arman being together initially before she fell in love with Manav, Even after divorce and the small leap ,she always knew that Arman could get together any time as she was not married to Manav.
She always knew it but she did not want to accept it until the day of the marriage where she mentioned the same to Manav and literally freed Manav from his responsibility (of course later Arman adopted Sachu). It was Arman themselves who wanted go through the sacrifice knowing full repercussions whereas I believe the younger generation trio took decision on spur of the moment without knowing the future repercussions which they later felt.
This scenario cannot be compared to the younger generation love triangle.
If at all a comparsion can be made then with role reversal -> unmarried Shravani -> married Ovi to Arjun and married Archu -> unmarried Purvi (at that point of time).
So the situations were different.
Arman made a choice of trying to sacrifice for others and putting others over themselves and their life and have payed a heavy price over the years.
The young generation trio too have had their share of misery.Only Ekta can tell if the misery for all will ever end or not before or after leap.

My point was made by the very nature of all the subsequent talkbacks. Not only were the points I made ignored for the most part but what I wrote about is what happened in the posts that followed

1. Shravani and Sachin were intimate before marriage which was ok with everyone as no one condemns it and all rush to defend Shravani's honor. . Purvi and Arjun also were intimate before marriage and are called many names, dirty cheap immoral illicit..

If no one can see the double standard here there is no point in any discussion

2. Arman were indeed committed to each other and deeply loved each other and there was absolutely no break up of their marriage.. The decision to divorce and Manav marry Shravani was simply for the reason of giving the baby legitimacy. To divorce your current wife to marry your brothers girlfriend is ludicrous.

3. I am an honest and moral person. Some of the talkbacks would give the impression that they are moral unlike "certain" writers (me for example). who then must be "immoral" and "dishonest". I have not judged anyone as immoral or dishonest and I would appreciate the same respect when I post my opinion.

I am an Arman fan, but i want to defend the Arvi fans here. To be honest, I am really tired of reading how much Arvi supporters are accused of treating Ovi poorly. In all that I have read it not that way very often. For the most part Arvi fans spend all their time praising ArVi and being hopeful for their reunion and very little in being negative about others. It does happen - there were in the past some comments by one or two, but not so often and not the majority..

I would hope that viewers could say good things about the characters they love without bashing and badmouthing the other ones. That's all I ask.

@Red:...u armaan fans ok...bt these thread not abt Arvi fans...n no one here bashing arvians so whats the need defend arvi fans here...😕 😲 😆

Naava, excellent posts, both, kudos on the apt summation.

Agree with the other member who wrote on this thread that one has to have/own something to sacrifice it. If it does not belong to you in the first place and you were never entitled to that person or possession, the question of sacrifice does not arise even if you suddenly come to your senses and willingly give up said possession/person. Giving up something that never belonged to you cannot be called sacrifice. Therefore, Ovi and Shravani while realizing the truth albeit a bit late that the men they loved/wanted was not theirs to keep, did not make any sacrifice. Exiting gracefully (or otherwise) when one has lost can be commended as good sense but cannot be classified as thyaag.
