It really does my head in! But then I am NOT an ardent fan of any actor in the serial, so I have little emotional investment to defend vociferously and repeatedly on many threads. I tend to read mostly-silently and sigh in exasperation...sometimes at the folly of youth!!

BTW=There IS a difference between donation and "Indian giving" which is what Purevi did-gave up but HUNG ON like a leech!

Sorry, I cant put myself in Ovi's shoes, even theoretically! Im not neurotic or obsessive! I wouldnt run after a man desperately trying to GET him, when I knew he loved somebody else... even in my youth, I wasnt that desperate! 😆 If I loved that guy I would let him be happy with the one he loved...I would yearn for him no doubt but move on in my life.

Nobody in the show is normal so why bash Purvi and Arjun for everything that happened? Ovi. Purvi, Arjun all 3 youngsters are to blame for what happened! Its no use trying to paint Ovi as a victim!

Yes, ArMaan shd have intervened a long time ago. But they didnt and just let the youngsters make one mistake after another. They were letting their children take their life decisions, suffer for them and learn from their mistakes, I guess...

Hung like a leech? Excuse me, I was talking abt when Purvi was NOT in Mumbai and Ovi had Arjun all to herself. Why was she so unhappy, frustrated and accusing Arjun all the time, making his life hell and trying to kill her unborn baby? No excuses for that behavior can be found!

I think ovi also ruined her marriage by listening to punni too much also. Punni was always there to fill Ovi's ears and she fell for it.

First off, the point of discussion is the clear bias archana and sulo have for purvi, completely ignoring ovi in the process. And all scenes shown so far have proven that time and again. Of course, manav is also biased towards ovi; but then his wife always manages to bring him around with her "Aap kuch kujiye naa manavvv!!". Most times these days, he looks afraid to even upset his wife by voicing an opinion contrary to her. So who wins at the end? Archana? And who does she favor? Purvi? So who loses-why ovi of course!

Discussions on the validity, morality and ethics of arjun purvi union have been done to death, let them just get together so everyone can move on to other things. Still, there is something called a respectable time period before these things can happen--especially when relations are so complicated. If they are getting together for love, good for them BUT they can very well wait until their divorces are finalized and a few months go by before initiating marriage talks. If they should get together coz of Pari, then pari is still a baby and does not need both parents right now; she doesn't even know anything that's going on atm. And how come suddenly India is so regressive that a child needs both parents? Can't single parents raise a child alone? For some time? With family's help? The excuses given for already discussing remarriage don't make any sense whatsoever. They're again rushing into it, which according to me at least was a huge reason for the mess that happened. Ovi needed time to get over her failed love then, and she needs it now. If she had been given that time then, she might not have resorted to desperate measures. That brings me to the other point.

Ovi is depressed and alone, and needs her family. Her maternal home. She can't call the Kirloskars her family any more and she's not as close to Karanjkar family members. The people she's grown up with and those who make up her home are the Deshmukh family members. For purvi, that's Karanjkar family members not the Deshmukhs. At least when ovi was in India, even unannounced, purvi and pari should have stayed in Karanjkar house which is their maternal house if things were uncomfortable. I give credit to purvi for volunteering, and archana, manav and rest of the deshmukhs should have allowed it. Instead, Ovi didn't have a place to stay even in India where all her family members resided. When arjun and purvi get married, it's best if they moved to Canada and ovi moved back to India. She's depressed and has exhibited suicidal tendencies, and needs her family's support while she's dealing with her loss and making a new life. Arjun and purvi will also get a chance to be a family by themselves and pari without having to worry about other things. They have their love and their child, and can be happy together for a while without the rest of the family while Ovi's getting healed. And Ovi will get the time she desperately needs and her family's support. If they let Ovi alone in Canada in this state, it will reek of hypocrisy, bias and neglect. And no, it doesn't matter that she wants to be in Canada right now coz the reason for that is she wants to be away from arjun and purvi.

LOL. Punni had no real asar as a villain. When the biggest vamp of the show manipulated all around her, what Punni will be able to do?

Punni was nothing compared to the modern day villain Purvi. :P

For that one deal, she took EVERYTHING away from Ovi.

If they would show her real face, I would be in awe of such a master mind.

Sadly, her manipulation still continues. :P Even after Ovi has left for good, showing herself to be way more mature and sensible than the leads, the forum is in dithers trying to blame her yet.

What can one do when the leads have no guts to do what they want to do? It would be one hell of an episode when Purvi dumps Arjun yet again ( without any deal) and runs to Goody two shoes Onir like Aishwarya. :P

hahahahahaha...Asli mazza toh tab ayega.

This love story is so stale and humbug, it's almost like a forced union without any chemistry anymore. Everything is fizzled out. With onir there will be new found chemistry!

That makes you a sentient ADULT.who thought and acted like a responsible-to-yourself person. THAT has not been written in by the CVs for ANY character on this show!!

It WAS a bad/immoral/desperate/IDIOTIC "deal "that Ovi came up with, but it was WORSE for Purevi to accept it and dump the alleged love of her life at the mandap and EVEN worst for Arjun to be SO lame duck as to agree to do as Purevi demanded-me thinks!

Nobody-not me-- here is trying to paint Ovi as an angel or victim. She WAS a prisoner of her childhood dream/infatuation/stubbornness, but she DID grow up, realize her horrendous mistake and moved on and out of Arjun-Purevi's lives. The AP duo is yet to acknowledge and rectify THEIR mistakes.

Tough love, eh? As a mother, I don't think I would BEAR to see my daughters stumble from one mistake to another-I WOULD intervene-that is why I don't have much respect for Archu-Manav school of parenting!!

SORRY! I mis-read what you wrote...but my reply would have been pretty much the same. Unless you've suffered in an unhappy relationship, you can never anticipate how you will deal with an unloving spouse. If you are emotionally and financially strong (Ovi was NOT at that time), you will extricate yourself out of the mess YOU created for yourself. Ovi was NOT emotionally strong then, so she tried to harm herself and her child by drinking herself stupid, Devdas like? Who knows HOW you express your frustration/depression? NO?

Punni has instigated and posioned Ovi's mind a lot. Ovi tried to just love Arjun and trust him but punni tried to create different meanings out of arvi before. Punni used to call ovi up and drive her crazy didn't she? She planted the seeds of mistrust and to fight. I've said this before, personally in my opinion I think Arovi marriage could have worked if ovi showered immense love and care and trust towards Arjun. I think he would have realized that gosh this woman truly loves me and not the one who left me. This is just my own little theory. Idk what type of love that would be but I believe their marriage could have worked.

As for purvi taking away everything from ovi for the deal... When was Arjun Ovi's for purvi to ever even take him away? People can't be taken away from where they're commited. If Arjun loved ovi, he would have never left her for purvi. There's a saying u never loved the first person if u fell for the second person.

As for purvi leaving Arjun for onir in the hddcs way, I actually said this before. Ekta only reunites the leads in deah in her shows. It wouldn't surprise me bc that's how the story is shaping up.

Ahh...just went through 20 pages in one sitting..oh what to say..

I have expressed my utter dislike for the two "leads" of this show, the characters that we are supposed to root for. However, nothing about their actions has made me support them. Purvi's vile actions, under the pretense of "bhalayi", are looked upon as saintly. Well, to each their own. This is some people's opinion. I respect that.

Arjun is seen as a victim when the guy cowardly agreed to Purvi's whims and demands. He has no self-respect or dignity to this day to straightforwardly say what he wants. Again, to each their own. I respect your opinions. Will not try to change them at all. 😊

Personally, I would have more respect for them if they actually fight for their love and marry each other cuz they love each other! And not because of their child. Lots of divorced or separated couples share children. ArVi fans scream "modern thinking! modern thinking!" when we criticize Arjun and Purvi to having pre-marital sex and that we should become more "open-minded" about them getting married after Arjun-Ovi divorce. Well, then why do you use the traditional excuse of getting married for the child's sake in this case? In one situation you want us to think more openly but not in another. If you're going to think open-mindedly, then apply it to this situation as well. Lots of "modern" couples have children yet are not together. Do you see the double standard in this?

Once again, I am by no means trying to change anyone's opinion. I am just trying to point out the flaw that I PERSONALLY see in your arguments whenever one of us, who are not driven by blinded love for any characters or ArVi's sexual chemistry, criticizes them and expresses our opinion.

As to what Dabulls stated earlier...I would LOVE to see Purvi dump Arjun at the alter and run to Onir in true Aishwarya style once she finds out his truth.

THEN, I would love to see Onir dump Purvi! And then I need to see both Arjun and Purvi's faces. AND THEN, I want Purvi to go crying back to Arjun. HOWEVER, this time I want Arjun to drop Purvi like a hot potato.

I would love it if Purvi dumps Arjun this time WITHOUT any deal (so fans don't have another excuse) so we can clearly see what a fickle girl she is and what a "pavitra" love this is. 🤢

I would totally cheer for her like my friend Dabulls. 😊
