Kanwar Dhillon, who is currently seen as Sachin in Star Plus’ popular show Udne Ki Asha, recently shot for an intense fight sequence that marks a major turning point in the storyline. The actor spoke about the scene, its emotional weight, and the effort that went into bringing it alive on screen.
Explaining the sequence's context, Kanwar shared that the fight centres on Sachin finally tracking down Dilip, Sailee’s brother, who Chitti has kidnaped. “This fight sequence is about Sachin finding Dilip, who is Sailee’s brother and has been kidnapped by Chitti. It is an old revenge that Chitti is taking, as he is a long-term enemy of Sachin,” he said. According to the actor, this time Sachin is not in a position to stay calm, as the situation directly affects Dilip’s career and life.
Responsibility and Emotion Drive the Climax
Kanwar further explained that the emotional core of the sequence comes from Sachin’s sense of responsibility towards Sailee’s family. “Sachin is in no mood to cool down this time, as it is about Dilip’s career and his life. Being the jija ji, Sachin has a certain responsibility towards Sailee’s family,” he shared. This responsibility pushes Sachin to take a stand, leading to the confrontation that becomes the episode's climax.
Talking about the preparation required for the sequence, Kanwar revealed that extensive planning and rehearsals were involved. “A lot of rehearsal goes into such sequences because it was written to be a slow-motion sequence, and there were a lot of high-speed shots that were supposed to be taken,” he said. The actor added that such scenes demand precision, as timing and movement play a crucial role in making the action look real on screen.

Rehearsals, Injuries, and Audience Response
Kanwar also spoke about the physical challenges he faced during the shoot. “Around five to six hours were taken out to shoot this sequence, and a lot of prep happened. Before doing the final take, a lot of rehearsals happen,” he said. He also mentioned that he had to be extra cautious due to an existing injury. “With my shoulder ligament having gone for a toss, I had to be extra careful,” Kanwar added.
Despite the challenges, the actor shared that the response to the sequence has been encouraging. “The response has been crazy, and people are going to love it,” he said, hinting that the scene adds depth to Sachin’s character. He also revealed that viewers can expect further growth in the storyline ahead. “The audience can expect a lot of layers and a lot of exploring in Sachin’s journey in this new year,” Kanwar concluded.
Udne Ki Asha continues to remain one of the top-rated shows, and this high-voltage sequence adds another important chapter to Sachin’s evolving journey.
