It seems that we have conflicting views about Purvi's reason for accepting the deal. I keep seeing around the forum that she did it for her selective sister's happiness.

Roll the tapes please, she did it for her Mother's happiness. the deal put forth by Ovi was for Archana to be accepted. Please let us stick to what the videos say.

Onir did not lie to Purvi, just as how it is the belief that Onir did not want know about Purvi's past, well I never once saw Purvi asking Onir about his. There is a difference between omission and lying. The only queen and king of lies is Purvi in this show.

The careless girl went ahead and married a man she knew nothing about and never tried to find out anything about him. She only has herself to blame.

I love Purvi, but I hate her mahaanta and sacrificial promises to people. She actually ruined Arjun's life with that immatured Ovi. Cant believe she did that.

Why are women in ekta shows shown to be so mahaan and strong when it actually makes them look so weak and stupid. 😕

@ bold - Absolutely! There is no one else she can point fingers at but herself. But look at what her hurried uninformed decision led to? She lucked out by landing a gem of a man whom she ended up ruining.

Purvi did the deal for her mother's sake but she tried to help Ovi get Arjun in many ways. Lol, that is what the show shows, so yes, let us keep it straight. 😊

Purvi asked Arjun to sleep with Ovi which Ovi was publicly complaining hadn't happened, poor desperate Ovi. Imagine how much more deprived she would have felt if she had found out about Pari and hadn't ever been given an opportunity to be a real wife to Arjun. 😉

Purvi left to Kolkata so that Ovi could get a chance with Arjun. Purvi had Onir come to Mumbai to treat that pregnant alcoholic woman so that saving the baby could give Ovi a shot at her marriage and her unrequited love.

Purvi gave her baby to Ovi so that Ovi could continue to feel happy that she had birthed Arjun's child. So yes, Purvi did try to help Ovi keep Arjun but unfortunately for Ovi, she could never spark any feeling of love in Arjun. Poor bichari Ovi.

Nina, loved your post :) my post was written half in jest.

But love cannot be forced, love happens and if Purvi had Arjun on remote control even from Kolkata, more power to her. Ovi couldn't do that staying in the same room as Arjun and ...er.. sleeping in the same bed as him. My heart does go out to Ovi on a different level, must be painful to want a guy so desperately that one is ready to give up all self respect when he has no eyes for her at all.

Love can't be forced if that is your perception, but it must not be used and discarded either. Purvi did a pretty good job with Arjun on that after she had sex with him. she so conveniently gave him back to Ovi.

I watch the video and see them for what they are.

Ovi is often said to be delusional. I think in her love for Arjun ,she may have been a tad bit so because she really owed herself so much better and she settled for this chum. But Purvi is more delusional. She actually thinks that every action she has ever taken has done bhalayi for someone but she refuses to acknowledge the fact that her actions have led to tabayi. She has deluded herself into believing that so much that she believes it as a fact.

Purvi had no option but to take back Pari when Ovi heartlessly abandoned the baby she had been mother to for two months. After all, Ovi was not the mother and so showed her true colors/feelings.

And Purvi did not ask for Pari back, Arjun gave back Pari to Purvi so he could have another shot at his rotten marriage. Let us not forget that so gladdened Ovi's heart that she took a last roll in the satin sheets with him before she skipped town. 😉

Breast feeding the baby? Ovi should have had more sense, she should have carried a diaper bag and milk for the baby if she was going to be gone that long. How careless a mother could she be! Crying baby, bio mother, it happens, Purvi nursed her child, maternal instinct. Of course, sadly lacking in Miss. Ovi but what can be expected from a girl who wanted to abort her baby, then took to drinking and later despised the helpless baby she had been mother to for 2 months. How unnatural and inhumane especially the last.

Leaving the baby on the edge of the bed, really, Ovi cannot be reprimanded even for that? She probably did not feel that surge of protectiveness that would stop a mother from putting her baby on the edge of a bed and leaving the child alone even for a few minutes in a strange hotel. Purvi did right in picking up the crying baby. After all, she is the one that has been through hell and high water to keep her baby alive NOT taking that easy abortion route that Ovi had contemplated.

The show does not lie, Purvi had already given the baby to Ovi, thoughtless gift and she was trying to console and reassure herself when she asked Onir if she had done the right thing in giving Pari away and it is then she says the baby will be with its real dad (at least, is implied).

I watch the show too and see what I see. Yes, Purvi was doing all this for Ovi, not your foot. 😆
