Edit: and purvi is shunned and not even allowed to speak while ovi is listened to and not shunned by family

I felt sort of sad to see her parental ego [ its an innocent pride but it IS an ego] destroyed . It is called NAAZ in hindi . So much naaz she had on her upbringing ...so much love she lavished on Purvi . The love of all her 4 kids she gave to this 'adopted' daughter .

What did this daughter give her ? Humiliation . Now Archana will forever hear it from the likes of Manju for the rest of her life .

Ask any mother . What will she feel if her child tells her she had irresponsible pre marital sex and a child out of wedlock which she later on tried to cover up in an immature way by swapping babies . Will mother be pleased ? She will be SHOCKED . DISGUSTED .

Archana would have been wrong if she had 'understood' even this act of Purvi and tooted it as a tyaag . Then she would definitely have been a partial mother .

But the reaction she gave today ...its a real mother's reaction . Lets hope it lasts .
