Purvi admitted to her mistake. Archu knows. She reacted the way it was always expected. Purvi said anjanai Mein as any child would do their parent. It's a typical reaction. I'm not justifying her just thinking about the child/ parent relation here.

But I'm happy Archu reacted this way. Purvi deserved it for her mahanta actions. I hope she grows from this now! Hope it brings a change in the character!

But I think the main purpose of this topic was just to say purvi always gets such harsh treatment compared to the rest of the gang. Not that the harsh treatment purvi faced wasn't right. Purvi deserved it. But she always gets it for her mistakes as opposed to others who don't.

Forumites claim Archana's reaction is over the top but archana's reaction would not sit well if she sat back and said 'Koi baat nahi Purvi, khabhi khabhi hota hai, tum nahi samjho gi'

A mother's reaction is always slightly exaggerated. They worry that's why.

Once a deshian, always a deshian. Love Arshi too 😆

Lol Tanya I was making fun of purvis actions by calling her mahaan. Using scarasm. I didn't acting mean it! It's sad but Archu may never trust purvi again!!

I disagree with you on the last part though. It's true purvi is archus pride as she was the only child she really raised and thus she gets the full on mom treatment by getting yelled at slapped etc but I still believe purvi gets punished and rest of the kids don't. I def don't believe purvi is spoiled though.

I have been slapped by my mother ...it didn't feel bad at all .

I don't have her with me any more and I cry sometimes when I think of how she was there to correct me or even slap me if I was wrong because I know that no one else would do that ...no one else would care that much for me to go that much out ..

you think when Archana slaps then only Purvi gets hurt ...no dear ...that is not the case.

The mother gets hurt 100 times more than the child ..

Purvi is lucky she has a mother who corrects her and would even slap her to make sure that she will not get her life spoiled ..

To me a mother 's telling off or a slap is a blessing that we should treasure and take very very seriously .Purvi is truly blessed to have a mother like Archana .I used to call Purvi ' Archana's little angel ' but not any more ...

I really loved the way Archana refused to even look at that Arjun's face today ...

Very well said, I guess it gets much easier, the older you get, to differentiate between chemistry and what is right and wrong.

After all it's fictional entertainment, but we must never forego our own beliefs, come what may.

Chemistry would have been better shown AFTER marriage. I'm sure it would be even more sizzling

Absolutely that's why I was happy Archu did this. It's her haq as her mother. It's her love most of all in this. To show she was wrong even when she was saying anjane Mein.

But my opinion remains... Only purvi is shunned and slapped etc. rest don't get this. Perhaps we can say as you said purvi is blessed to have this?

I agree archu wouldnt want to look at arjunbut think Arjun should be give a chance to speak also eventually...not when he came in! As that was awkward...Archu wanted to speak to her daughters. If Arjun isn't given chance to speak , I think it's unfair. Archu needs to understand the situation now too in terms of what happend and how it happend why it happen and how we can resolve it! As that's the job of parent after the initial behind kicking lol

Archana will forgive but not now ..I hope not now ..

She should stay away from both Arjun and Purvi . I know Arjun in her damaad .I hope Ovi starts thinking about divorce ..so far she has not mentioned that word but I hope she does that now ...

Arjun and purvi can get together and with their daughter have a home and their life ...their story can run parallel with the other stories of the show but I don't want Archana to have much to do with them now ..

Really hope that the writers find another story for Archana ...Don't want her around Purvi for some time ...what is so sad is no matter what Archaan does , even if she gets angry with Purvi for anything that is very wrong ( like having a child outside wedlock ) immediately blood becomes thicker than water and all this starts ...

That is why I really really want Arvi to have a happy home , their happy story but please writers , keep Archana away from them ...Give her another story .
