Ok, I have been planning to make this post forever now😆 and I wanted to make it in another thread where Hilly said that members thinks that Arjun lusted for Ovi and had sex, whereas with Purvi, his sex was for love😃. Now, that thread got closed, but I desperately want to write this down and see what everyone here thinks of it😆😆, so here I go 😆.

I believe that without lust sex cannot simply happen. People lust for each other and so engage in sex. Sex isn't like having breakfast or lunch, so when one's biological clock demands food, one eat. Humans do not engage in Sex; say Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of a week, right? 😆 Nor do they plan for sex at 3AM, right?😆 That could be utterly weird😆. Sex happens when people have that urge that can be triggered by so many things...a hormonal change in response to internal or external stimuli, right? So, even if one loves a girl, there has to be that urge or lust for sex to happen, otherwise that relationship will totally be platonic, right?? So, lust is the single most important ingredient for any Sex to happen, isn't it?

Ok, now I said it all about how I feel about love, lust and sex😉 (can be made into a Movie yaar😆) and feel much lighter😆...say what friendz???

So, why is there a negative connotation in that word, lust... it basically describes the passion that leads to sex? Of course, sometime this passion may not be right and lead to rape etc. so I guess, one need to learn to curb that 'lust'. And that is what society demands, lust within a predefined norm...

Here is what I feel...

It does not seem like lust, lust is where you are only lovers and not friends. I know Arjun does not treat Ovi the way a true friend should. However, they do have a history, they have had conversations, spent time together. Maybe more in the past than in the marriage. Yet, that is still there. That is why Arjun was comfortable with having sex with Ovi and was okay with getting her pregnant . I believe that is why he could give into Purvi's request, because he knew Ovi, she was familiar.

Remember when he agreed to marry her initially, it was after feeling jealous seeing her with another man, so he was obviously attracted to her. Of course he was not in love, but there was attraction or no way he would agree to the marriage, since no one was forcing him. Especially after was giving him the exit.

At the same time, men are known to toy with the girl that turns him on physically and the girl that turns him on both physically and mentally.

Arjun felt mental connection with Purvi first, and that is what drove him to feel passion for her. If it was physical first, we would have seen that. Purvi challenged him, she did not make things easy for him, he was not used to that and men like challenge. Unfortunately, as we all know, there isn't much to the girl in some cases, but the men can't see that.

Arjun felt physical attraction for Ovi First along with the friendship, but the friendship he took for granted. Ovi was always willing to please him, she never challenged him, she went along with whatever. If she challenged him it was more behind the scenes, but she messed that up by telling him about the act to make him jealous..wrong move.

Ovi's looks and her stylish dressing makes her more appealing for the typical male. She looks like a model. Men friends have told me women who look like that is more distracting so you focus more on how she looks, instead of what she is on the insides.

Purvi is pretty but she looks regular, she does not have that striking look, but her way to challenge Arjun, makes him take notice, of her the person, not her looks. Then eventually he became physically attracted to her, he developed passion. Plus Purvi has the attitude that insecure men would find intriguing. A real confident man would not spend a day with Purvi after her first shouting tirade. Arjun as we know is not confident. he can't even make decisions for himself.

My POV is that a man has to be physically attracted to a woman before he can have sex with her. Remember men can't fake sex. 😉 So they must feel that physical attraction. Now men are not like women where they need to be in love with the person to have sex with them.

Ovi is a beautiful model who did not hide her feelings for Arjun. She and Arjun were friends from childhood.

Now being a famous, beautiful model and in love with Arjun would have stroked his male ego at some point. He must have been feeling like a king. But the problem with that relationship and why it never took off is that men are also hunters. Ovi never gave Arjun a chance to chase her so though the pyhsical attraction was present, the excitement and thrill of the chase was not there. She was too much of a doormat and yes-woman. Men need their woman to challenge them and to have opinions about things.

Purvi was like a foreign object to Arjun when he first met her. He was anxious to prove to his father that he was capable but Purvi was putting up a fight with her union work. Plus the fact that the CVs made her into a superwoman who was the only person that could run the company, just helped matters by him being in her presence constantly. I mean that just proved that DK was a shitty businessman if he could not manage his company but that is another topic so let's leave that.

So Purvi's constant brawls just made Arjun notice her as he was not used to seeing such behaviour. She challenged his principles and values and was anxoius to prove that he was not the things she accused him of being. After all, he was accustomed to his ego being massaged.

So he is in love with Ovi and does feel lust for her. With Purvi I will say that she provided mental stimuli for him and so became infatuated with her.
