Purvi is anything but mahaan, and mahaanta is only a cover for her extreme stupidity, nothing else. Everything she does, despite being shown to be this wizard in the company at 18 with a masters degree to boot, now makes me think she probably got that degree from some unaccredited scam university, because clearly she has no ability to make decisions that are expected from her age group. She has been stupid and worse, never seen the light at the end of the tunnel. I think all her education was over-rided by Archana's parvarish. The great Archana, who in her time was as stupid, but she could be excused because after all she was 8th grade pass. This is why Sulo was looking for a smarter man to ride her through life.

Purvi, got the smarter men, both of them smarter in their own way than her, one academically and older and more mature, and one who definitely was not Mahaan or had any pretenses about doing good. I call that smart, cuz in today's world, people usually make decisions for themselves and look after their own lives instead of meddling in others without asked to. that is considered smart in today;s world and that was how Arjun was introduced. What poison/magic spell overcome that personality, we all know. Despite the smarter man, she remained dumb. Sadly, the men took on her stupidity as cute/attractive whatever, labeled it as mahaan and are happy to accompany her foolish escapades with their never-ending support. This is why, she will NEVER learn. Not to mention the pope and her aai, who both have instilled some warped idea about how any of the K women under their tutelage can NEVER be wrong, no matter what. With all that, where is Purvi ever going to STOP acting this way? Onir looks like he doesn't mind any of this, losing license, raising her love baby, being poor, living in red light district, being ridiculed and humiliated for his reputation now, nor the dark future that is ahead of him. I don't think he is being eternally optimistic, it's just blind in love syndrome. Just being around mishti is going to help his life it seems. Ofcourse, he doesn't notice that his mishti could care two hoots about him or his career or his life even. She will be there each time only to shed her crocodile tears and gain sympathy from bystanders to this tamasha. Unless Onir steps up his own intelligence and makes 2 from 2, and gives a good sounding to purvi about life and relationships, this girl is far from being any less annoying to us until the end of PR. Heck, I would be happy if they show her in a permanent coma ala aai and both the loonies could moon over her pretty face and I would find that episode also more tolerable than one with her strutting around doing dumb things.

P.S - Shruti is not quitting it seems. That is not her actual twitter handle and looks like one of her detractors is getting some perverse pleasure by impersonating her account and tweeting their own wild wishes.

Masti, I agree with everything you said except that part about Arjun paying child support. Yes, Purvi should have discussed with Onir, because he is her husband, but it should not be totally his decision. As usual Purvi never goes about anything the sensible way.

However, Arjun is still the Father, it takes two to make a baby and he must take responsibility for his child. Especially, in this situation, where the child is sleeping on Sari, and the rent is paid, instead of feeding the baby.

Onir working still will not be able to pay the bills properly, Arjun money is needed.
