What I have observed from Pavitra Rishta is that relationships between males and females, whether engaged couples, married couples, or boyfriend and girlfriend takes major precedence over children.
My main contention is the innocent babies and the women who are called Mothers.
The women have babies and they are passed around as commodity. A baby's identity is hidden today and revealed tomorrow as if it is no big deal, life goes on. Babies can be swapped easily, thank God all parents are of the same race, wow that would be a challenge or we would definitely need Maury Povich.🤔
Today they feel like being a Mother tomorrow they don't. They have children and one is the favourite and the others are constantly compared. They take someone's child, no big deal I aborted mine, now I regret, I must take someone else's child.
I can't say these are unrealistic situations, but in real life these parents, especially the Mothers are shunned for this type of behaviour. No one respects such behaviour. Child Service, Social Services would get involved. Family members would intervene on behalf of these babies.
Normal family members would never speak to them again.
However, in Pavitra Rishta these women are called Mahaan, Great Sacrificial Women, victims etc. I feel like puking at this nonsense.
I marvel at how men are shown to worship these irresponsible women. I can't say this does not happen in real life, but I am sure when a man finds out that the woman of his dreams, has a baby for him and is ready to hide this fact, and secretly give this baby to him, pretending to be all good, he would no longer see her in the same light.
Not in PR though, he gets upset for two seconds and then insists that she is so wonderful to do this act. What a good woman, that is why he loves her so much.👎🏼 He does not see anything wrong with her not wanting to feed her baby when asked(only when not asked). he sees nothing wrong with her not caring about the baby's well being. She has chosen her husband over her baby, as she is more concerned with his well being. She makes promises to not part with this man, but she can part quite easily with a baby that was in her womb for 9 mths, her own flesh and blood.
It is after all the theme of PR, be a Mother, let everyone praise you for not aborting an illegitimate child, but you aborted after birth into another woman's hands, what is the fre🤬 difference?
A Mother can have four children to take care of and what does she spend time doing? Getting her nose in others business, holding grudges against the husband's ambitions and the list goes on. Four mouths to feed, and the only interest is keeping the romance alive, worrying about every other issue but your children and husband's well-being and keeping the breadwinner as poor as possible.
Not to mention children are gone, no fighting for them, just replace them with a new baby from the roadside. All is well and 18yrs later, life goes back to normal.
