I just found it so strange that people feel nothing bad that happens to her is ever worth pity. How many tv serial marriages were done on blackmail and force? Usually it is done by the khadoos lead heros, so it's okay. They have redeeming qualities, but Ovi has none. It made no sense to me.

That type of chemistry could be created with any 2 people given the chance..

But they never showed Ovi with Arjun or any one else for that matter in romantic situation..

Arjun Purvi can only do those romantic scenes better while rest of the time they are hard to look at.

And wanting AshVik together is whole diff thing...Lets see how far these two go..

BTW TM very nice post...I dont agree on only one thing "Purvi having good heart" nothing that she has done can show me she did it out of her good heart..She has gone around ruin people's lives and not even left an innocent dead baby nor her own daughter Pari..

I honestly don't care about whether those two whiny , unhappy love birds reunite or not
If Arjun couldn't value a life long friendship where they literally spent majority of their time together
I don't see how he will be able to value his "love"
Arjun and Purvi went through NOTHING
Everything is good in the first few months
Arjun took a bullet for Purvi , it doesn't prove his love
It proves his humanity
He would do it for about anyone who would be in that situation
As for the chawl thing ..as I said everything is good in the first few months

This is how she gets paid back
The truth is Purvi and Arjun are the most annoying characters in history .. I don't understand why they are always regretting and crying and grimacing

However, I don't agree with the part about Purvi "having a good heart."

Why?

If she had a good heart, she would not have agreed to wait on Arjun to break it to Ovi, that he has fallen in love. I found that very wrong.

But let us say, it could be digested for a moment, she was too ready to get married after Ovi found out about everything. She was wrong there.

Having an intimate relation with Arjun, who she assisted in hurting Ovi for, she herself dropped him due to "begging for charity."(as you perfectly said), not force. She supposedly did this for Archana. However, having a "good heart," can't be one-sided. Purvi agree to the deal not because she has a "good heart," but because she realised how shameful it was for what she was doing and how she had gone about it.

When Ovi wanted out, and Purvi knew within herself that Arjun was not over her, in no shape or form near to loving Ovi, what did Purvi do? She told Arjun to make it work with Ovi, consummate et. That is not a girl with a truly "good heart."

The worse act of her not having a "good heart," is giving away her own baby and getting rid of Ovi's without thought for how this would once again affect Ovi's life.

So, Purvi is many things, but she does not have a "good heart."

Good hearted people don't make decisions for others lives without consulting them. Good hearted people would not want a person in their life in the wrong way, not caring how it affect the other person they had made a commitment to.

Good hearted People don't discard another person's baby without informing them and allowing them to mourn. If for a split second it could be considered "Good hearted," Purvi was ready to go against her same so-called "good hearted," dead for another cause and hurt Ovi even more.

Purvi is selfish only her own Opinion and Agenda in others lives matter. She is self-righteous because she feels that her way is always right and no one should dare to question her motives. Her so-called, destructive Sanskaars should be everyone's Sanskaars.

Very good post TM! I found myself understanding Ovi more through this storyline too, while in the past Ovi wasn't accepting of Purvi that all changed once she spoke to Onir. Ovi tried to turn over a new leaf, she looked forward to being a mother and looked at Purvi as her confidante so it comes as no surprise why the news of Pari not being hers devastated more. Arjun and Purvi owed it to Ovi to be honest instead they kept her in the dark while making huge decisions that impacted her life. Ovi should've been told before anyone else instead Onir, Purvi and Arjun decided they would tell everyone before Ovi of all people.

Well the one good thing after this, with Ovi leaving Arjun it will be proven what I've long suspected Arjun and Purvi do not need Ovi to wreck and demolish their own lives they always caused bigger damage themselves, by the way 100 bucks says Arjun is gonna miss Ovi SHOCKING to some but true 😃

Ovi is an immature brat coz she was brought up the same way r . if she was brought up by Archana , may be she could have been a saint like Purvi .

She was at fault , to use her parentsand get her love when she knew that both Arjun and Purvi like each other . Isn't she grown up enough to understand that Arjun did not love her and he loved only Purvi .

Purvi was emotional enoughand let Ovi marry Ajun but what about Arjun ?? He could have stopped the wedding if he could have ...he could have made Oi understand ... And its not only Ovi who can attempt suicide , even Arjun can do that ... He could have threatened Ovi and Ovi being madly in love with Arjun ,would not have allowed that not Purvi would have .

Arjun was at fault to love Purvi and not tell about it to Ovi when he engaged .

Ovi was wrong to use her parents' life for the sake of her happiness ( this can never e forgiven )

Purvi was wrong to act selflessly yet selfishly to unite her parents but steal Arjun's happiness.

Ovi was at fault before leap but after leap she was not .

Arjun made her believe that he loved her and she was going to be a mother of his kid . her kid dies and it was Purvi who tried to act Mahaan by giving her kid to Ovi . And on the top of all ,it wasnot Purvi - Onir's kid but Arjun- Purvi's kid .

No woman can bare this tuth , in my POV

I feel that purvi must have let Mumbai when Ovi was alright . she must have retrned back to Kolkata with onir . Or she must have left when she handed Pari to Ovi .

its just that trio kept the truth closed because they did not want ovi to get hurt but hurted her more tis way .

I totally agree with you...

in the beginning they always showed ovi and arjun as inseparable...but even then when arjun refused to marry her she didnt go crazy or anything...but then arjun himself said he wants to marry her and made false promises to her...people in this forum tend to forget that arjun was engaged to ovi when he was pursuing purvi...it wasnt purvi's fault to fall for arjun and neither was it arjun's fault but his biggest mistake was that once he realized he had feelings for purvi he should have called ovi and broken things off with her...in fact the whole time he was confessing his love for purvi he even hid it from her that he was already engaged...this is why i cant like arjun because he has only been shown as a cheating fiance, boy friend and husband so far...

as far as not hurting ovi's feelings, they already did that so many times...so if they had done that in the beginning then none of this would have happened...

I really wish ovi had never talked about the deal with purvi because she got burned for that multiple times...the one thing different about ovi and purvi's love for arjun is that ovi did everything to make arjun happy but purvi did everything to make everyone else happy not once caring about arjun or putting him first yet their love is supposed to be pavitra in this forum...

another thing that is weird in this show is depicting the post marriage relationship between arjun and ovi...they were friends and then fiances and have known each other their whole lives so why are they so awkward after marriage...it is not like they are strangers...

the whole baby thing is just sad...no one has the right to take away a mother's right of mourning their death child...purvi did just that...yet in this forum purvi will never get blamed for that but instead is being praised for being a loving sister...

also it is funny to see arjun's love for pari now since he couldnt even give her a glance when he was under the impression that pari was his and ovi's baby...it is after he found out that pari is purvi's daughter that she became a huge part of her life...

i totally agree with you that in this forum, members are probably too young to understand the depth of husband and wife relationships or relationships in general...purvi and arjun's love is very weak...the first little problem and purvi gave up...arjun and ovi on the other hand went through so much yet she tried to work on it...and that is life...

ovi was wrong from start to end again she will do a mistake leave the house without informing anyone .if she think that she did a mistake now she gave the right to arjun for taking the decision of his life. what he want to do?
