The show never gave Ovi the choice, I think it is grossly unfair because everyone has the right to make their own decisions..!

I am not a prude when it comes to premarital intimacy...it happens all the time and I don't think it is a big deal...given that Ovi knew Arjun and Purvi were madly in love, it is something she should have expected even..

However, a pregnancy is a whole new deal...the father has equal right and responsibility too...so, what would Ovi have done if she had been confronted with the truth?

i feel that if ovi came to know the truth before purvi left mumbai then she should have definitely attempted to harm herself.. im saying this because she tried to kill herself when she knew about arjun and purvi marriage as she was not able to bear it.. so that is what she will do when she will come to know about purvi's pregnancy..and i think that is one of the reasons why purvi left to kolkata..

and i dont agree that she never got a chance to decide about her life as she herself came into this marriage knowing that arjun loved purvi more than anything and was also marrying her just for purvi's sake..she cant be so dumb to think that arjun changed his mind just in a second from purvi to her and so he accepted to marry her.. and she even had the chance to decide when arjun said that he still loves purvi in front of everyone when even after one month of their marriage she could have taken a decision then but she chose to stay with arjun as she want him in any way so i dont think she never had a chance to decide about herself she had it and chose it in her way

now i think its high time atleast she should understand atleast now that she will never get his heart completely as pari will always remind him of purvi and i hope she takes a wise decision atleast now and leave him and chose a person who can all be hers...

i think she could have not done anything because she was only a fool girl no sense of taking the decision. she had done after punni advice.

You have misunderstood...I did not mean that Ovi did not have a right to choice on anything...I was only talking of Puriv's pregnancy...since she never knew, she was never in a position to take a stand on it,, hence my poll on what she would have done if she had the choice...,

She would have been shattered but then again Arjun never told her he loved her, they didn't consummate their marriage
Due to which she would have to accept it

I guess Ovi would have given Arjun a divorce and Arvi could have happily lived after.. But nothing such happened and that is the worst thing! Purvi always tries to hide a truth for the welfare of her family but in return she always invites more sorrow in future... which is happening now in Pavitra Rishtaa...
