I do understand what you are saying. However, it can't be said that she forced him. She reminded him that since he married Ovi, albeit at Purvi's say so, he also had a responsibility to treat Ovi withdue respect and give her the position of being his wife. Yes he protested that he couldn't because he loved Purvi. And yes, she then emotionally blackmails him with the "If you ever loved me" speech. However, the word "forced" implies pressurised him. Arjun is a grown man and had the option to say No. That he was too weak to do so and then did what Purvi told him to do does not absolve him of his responsibility. He took the decision to consummate and must live with it.
