Misscarlet, True a relationship is based on mutual love and trust, but sadly trust has to be earned in any relationship, mutual or arranged...Arjun has done nothing, zilch to earn that trust, right from the time he left Canada. The Onus is on him to earn it. Now, of course, the arguement of the deal is rampant in this forum, but Arjun did marry Ovi in sane mind. What more he consumed his marriage with his sane brain after wanting a second chance. But uptill now, he has shown no character at all, by running and eyeing Purvi. Let us assume, he loves Purvi head over heels. But what has he done for that divine love of his. Did he divorce Ovi? What divine signal is he waiting for to do the needful?? Now, let say, he wants to follow the mandate set forth by his divine love, Purvi? Now, is he following even following that what Purvi wanted? Is he being faithful to his wedded wife. We hail the story of Devdas, but for all his character weakness, Devdas never ever crossed his boundary of Maryada, he could have done it...that is what self respect is to oneself, to the one you love and above all speaks for the character of a lover...above everything else, one love the character a lover display and even more importantly the boundaries he defines for himself...Let Arjun show us the character of a man and his integrity as a husband and a father, even if then Ovi doesn't see hsi goodness, we can pull her up. But until then what we say is more to show a dislike for the character Ovi...Character of Arjun has failed to grow, he is left hanging as a schoolboy in love, struck in the past...he is but a pathetic symbol of a man - and any woman could just walk away from men like him...
My POV of course...and of course agree to disagree...
