Part 4
Purvi was bored. She was not allowed to even lift a finger. That rule was set by her dear husband ever since she had fell unconscious Arjun now spent most of the time with her & made sure that she eats properly.
She always felt that she was lucky to have Arjun in her life & thanked God everyday for the blessing He had bestowed upon her in the form of Arjun. When Arjun was near her, she felt secure, loved & blissful. The days when Arjun did not talk to her...Purvi felt numb, she had turned into a heaping mass of tears & sadness. Those few days made her realise that Arjun was far more than her love...her husband...he was her lifeline. Purvi smiled at the thought.
Arjun- What is with that beautiful smile of yours?
Purvi shook her head. Her eyes fell on the tray that Arjun was carrying & her nose wrinkled in disgust.
Arjun- What happened Purvi?
Purvi- I dont like that. (she said pointing to the bottle of medicine on the tray.)
Arjun laughed. Purvi let the sound of his laughter wash over her. It seemed to her that after ages she was hearing Arjun laugh so heartily.
Arjun- But you have to drink this.
Purvi- No Arjun...(in a baby voice) Pleeeaaseee
Arjun- Purvi, if you dont have this, how will you be fine?
Purvi- Arjun...I am fine.
Arjun- Yeah. Sure.
Purvi rolled her eyes & pouted while Arjun just smirked at her.
Arjun- If you have this na then I promise I will take you out somewhere.
Purvi- Promise??
Arjun- I promise.
Arjun knew that Purvi was bored all day sitting & doing nothing. It is difficult for a person who always runs around doing this or that to sit idle. But Purvi needed rest.
Arjun watched as Purvi's face scrunched up & puckered after having the medicine. She made a really cute picture when she did that. Arjun stared at her. Purvi noticed this & felt shy.
Purvi- Why are you staring at me?
Arjun- Why? Cant I even look at my gorgeous wife?
Purvi blushed at Arjun's compliment. Arjun sat on the bed facing Purvi & held her hands tight.
Arjun- Purvi...I never meant to hurt you like this...I am sorry for all that you have suffered.
Purvi- No Arjun. What you did was absolutely right. I needed someone who could bring me on track. I am sorry Arjun for not considering you. For not valuing our love. But Arjun...I wanted to do something for Aai. I wanted to make her happy. I chose the wrong path.
Arjun- I promise you Purvi...Archana aunty & Manav uncle will get together.
Purvi- But how?
Arjun- When we go out today...I will tell you. First I will have to talk to Dad.
Purvi- Dad? What will Dad do? What are you thinking of Arjun?
Arjun- I will tell you everything Purvi but I will have to talk to Dad first.
Purvi- But Arjun...
Arjun- Do you trust me Purvi?
Purvi- More than myself.
Arjun- Bas then. You take rest. I will just come, okay?
Saying this he kissed Purvi's forehead & went downstairs to talk to DK.
