Purvi was totally confused. She did not seem to understand how Arjun will unite her Aai & Baba. After Arjun & Purvi's marriage Manav went back to Canada with the whole family. He did not even wait for the divorce proceedings to be completed.
Then there was her sister Ovi who is dead against Archana-Manav's reunion & that was because of Arjun Purvi's marriage.
Flashbacks of their marriage day came in Purvi's mind.
*flashback*
Purvi- Arjun, please try & understand...
Arjun- What should I understand huh? What are you trying to do? Do you even realize?
Purvi- Aai will get her happiness.
Arjun- Oh Wow Purvi!! (claps dramatically) Aai will get her happiness...what about your happiness? what about my happiness? Will your Aai be happy Purvi if you do this?
Purvi went silent.
Arjun- Answer me Purvi!!
Purvi- But Arjun, Ovi said that...
Arjun- Oh so... Ovi had planted the idea in your head??
Purvi- Arjun...Ovi said that...if you marry her...she will...she will accept Aai...
Arjun- What!!! So Ovi & you made a deal out of me???
Purvi- It is not like that Arjun...
Arjun- What is it like then, huh Purvi?
Purvi- (almost whispering) Arjun...
Arjun- Okay...you dont want to marry me na...okay dont marry me...I will marry Ovi...But Purvi remember one thing very clearly...I willl make Ovi pay for this...
Purvi- What are you saying Arjun?
Arjun- Yes it all because of her...I will make her life a living hell if I marry her...
Purvi- No Arjun...Please dont do this...Please...
Arjun- Then you marry me...marry me & take her punishment...Tell me... Are you ready?
Purvi- (sobbing) Yes...I will marry you...
*flashback ends*
That day Purvi will not be able to forget in her whole life. Every girl dreams that her wedding will be full of happiness & joy but she got married to the love of her life amidst all the turmoil & confusion of her life. That was because she herself complicated the things with her own hands. If not for Arjun, by now she would have turned mad because of his absence in her life. She also felt guilty that he was the reason her Aai was away from her family but also glad that her Arjun was making an effort to unite them.
DK was really proud of his son. He always knew that somewhere beneath the arrogant & ambitious facade of his son lived a humble & kind person, the part of Aashna that she had left within him. But it did not come out until Purvi stepped into his life. DK saw Aashna in Purvi. Maybe because she had the values in her which Aashna had. Purvi was more like a daughter to him than a daughter in law. DK was really happy that Arjun got a life partner like Purvi.
Arjun on the other hand was ready with his plan. He was just ready to tell Purvi now. When he married Purvi he promised himself that he will fulfil all of Purvi's wishes & now it was time for him to fulfil his promise...
Purvi had gotten ready & was looking at herself on the mirror. She had worn a white net saree with matching simple earrings. She had no makeup on her but still was looking very beautiful.
Arjun entered the room to call Purvi but was mesmerized by the sight before him & he just stood there absolutely speechless just staring at her. Purvi turned, looked at him & frowned.
Purvi- Arjun! Why are you staring at me?
Arjun- You are so beautiful Purvi.
Purvi blushed & Arjun's heart skipped beats seeing that.
Purvi- Okay okay lets go.
Arjun-(coming towards her) You know we can cancel our plan today...
Purvi- No Arjun. We will not...I will call dad if you postpone our date.
Arjun- Grrr...Dad ki laadli...
Purvi-(smirking)That I am.
Arjun & Purvi made a striking couple. When they are out together people around them always wished that they always stay together. Purvi found it pleasant while Arjun just thought it was because of Purvi.
Arjun first took Purvi to the Shiv mandir where Arjun had first time felt something for Purvi. (the same temple where Purvi had jumped into Arjun's arms seeing a snake). There they prayed for sometime. Then Arjun took Purvi to a pani puri stand where they had pani puri & enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
Finally Arjun took her to the sunset point & they sat on the bonnet of the car where Arjun revealed his plan to Purvi. Purvi gasped & then squealed with happiness & excitement. She hugged Arjun & pinched his cheeks.
Purvi- Arjun!! You are a genius!!!
Arjun-(with mock attitude) I know...
Purvi hit Arjun on his arm & laid her head on his shoulder looking out onto the stars shining in the night sky.
