Arjun & DK were at the office & Purvi had completed all her work at home. She was just sitting at the couch of the living room when she decided that she should put her time to some good use. She went to visit Sukriti. She had known Sukriti & her family from her childhood. Her daughters & Purvi used to play together. Now they were living in USA. She rang the doorbell. Sukriti opened the door & ushered her in.
Sukriti- Purvi...come in...come...
Sukriti & Purvi sat on the couch.
Purvi- How are you massi??
Sukriti- I am fine. How are you??
Purvi- I am fine too. Actually I came here to discuss Aai Baba's case.
Sukriti- Yes...your husband had told me...well Purvi...I think I cannot do much about it beta. Actually... I am a judge...I can only give verdicts based on the evidences presented to the court. Or by seeing the understanding of a relationship. But what Arjun told me...the only remedy here is to file a case against Savita ji for forgery & hire a good lawyer.
Purvi- File a case against aaji?? Aai will never do it & also aaji will be put behind the bars if...
Sukriti- Purvi...we can submit an anticipatory bail in advance so that she does not go to jail...& our main motive is to make Manav & Sachin realize that Archana is not what they think.
Purvi- Yes...that can be a solution...but massi we need to convince Aai for it.
Sukriti- When is Manav coming Purvi??
Purvi- The 25th of this month...Wait!! How did you know??
Sukriti- I had talked to Arjun...he told me.
Purvi- Oh!
Sukriti- By the way Purvi...Neha & Sona are coming back...
Purvi- Really?? That's nice...
Sukriti- Yes...& you talk to Archana...see what she says...
Purvi nodded & sighed. She had a very tough job ahead of her. Purvi stood up to leave.
Purvi- I will take you leave now. Thank you so much massi.
Sukriti- Dont thank me Purvi. Archana has always stood by me in my tough times. Now it is my turn.
When Purvi left, Sukriti thought that Archana was really lucky to have a daughter & son in law like Purvi & Arjun. Her mind wandered off to her own daughters & she wondered about what kind of husband they will get.
When Purvi reached home, she was greeted by a smell of burning. She rushed in & asked a servant what was going on. He replied that Arjun had come home early & was trying to cook despite of insisting otherwise. Now he is not letting anyone enter the kitchen.
Arjun had come home early & found Purvi missing. He asked the servant who replied that Purvi had gone outside & said that she will return after sometime. He thought of cooking something special for Purvi. That had resulted in the rubble that was the kitchen sometime back. Purvi will kill him. He quit stirring the blackened mass which was supposedly sheera & started cleaning up the kitchen.
Droplets of sweat formed on his forehead when he heard his wife's angry voice from the back.
Purvi- Mr. Arjun Kirloskar!!!!
Arjun turned & saw Purvi in her spitfire avatar. He gave her a cheeky smile.
Arjun-(meekily) Yes my princess, my queen, my love??
Purvi- (angrily) What is this???(gesturing to the mess)
Arjun-(scratching the back of her head) Umm...uhh... nothing...I was trying to cook...
Purvi- Why???
Arjun- (in one breath) I was trying to make sheera for you!!!
Purvi's anger vanished in thin air. Her husband was trying to cook for her. She was surely dreaming. The great Arjun Kirloskar who was by some miracle, her husband was trying to cook for her...but he could have hurt himself...he could have got burnt. Purvi shook her head to remove the thought.
Purvi- Arjun...dont think that I will forgive you...what if you had gotten hurt??
Arjun- I did not get hurt Purvi.
Purvi- Yes but what if...
Arjun- I wont do it again. I am sorry I spoiled the kitchen.
Purvi- No Arjun. Its okay. Now let me see what did you make...
Purvi walked in through the mess inside the kitchen. She peered over the yuckish type of heap which Arjun claimed to be sheera & Purvi laughed. Arjun put his arms around Purvi's waist. Purvi grabbed a spoon & scooped off some of the sticky thing & before Arjun could protest...put it in her mouth. She cringed at the taste.
Arjun- I am sorry Purvi.
Purvi- Dont be Arjun. Thank you.
Arjun- For what???
Purvi- For making me the most amazing sheera in the world.
It was true...for Purvi...everything Arjun did was amazing. Even this..."sheera".
