Varsha di, all of this non common-sense BS is shown to further make SAvita's character grey. They could have easily shown Savita suspecting Sunny and wanting a background check on him. Instead she loves the boy, but has immature rivalry with his granny. And THIS is shown as the reason she opposes the rishta. At her age, Savita should be shown to have a little sense in her, especially with all that she has been through in life, with sons, drunkard husband, the plots and traps that fallen flat on her face and finally the DIL that she hated but now RULES the house. She should simply know better than to throw a temper tantrum as immature as this. But, like I said, they just make characters like hers darker, instead of showing neutrality as a grandmother.
Also, Archana and Manav are really the most dumb set of parents I have ever seen. How can they promise Sunny the shaadi, without even getting to know him better. To top it, they know this will not sit well with savita, so why not take them into confidence first and get them to agree before making promises bindaas.
I can see it coming, but this Shady SHani of a boy is going to spell trouble. Gut feeling, that in the end Teju's story is going to go the triangle way with her getting married to that geeky brother Jignesh. There can only be one reason to show that brother and this is it. I wonder what is Ektas twisted fantasy about showing triagnles with sisters and brothers. 😕
