Anupamaa: Anu gets locked in bathroom, Digvijay steps in to save her

Tonight's Anupamaa episode opens with Jaya growing restless as she notices that Anupama has still not returned home. She feels uneasy and admits to herself that nothing feels right in Anupama’s absence. Hunger begins to bother her, but her concern for Anupama outweighs everything else. Meanwhile, at work, Rossi deliberately creates trouble for Anupama. Anupama, on the other hand, reminds herself that she is working hard only for Jaya and cannot leave midway. She assumes that Banku must be looking after Jaya in her absence.

At home, Digvijay sits down to have his dinner while Jaya quietly signals to Banku that she is hungry. As the clock nears 10 PM, Digvijay instructs Banku to shut the main gate. Jaya immediately pleads with him not to lock it, insisting that Anupama has not come back yet. However, Digvijay refuses to listen and remains firm on his decision. Jaya breaks down, calling out for Anupama. Banku tries to calm her and encourages her to eat something, but she refuses, saying she will only eat after Anupama returns. She continues to wait anxiously while Banku informs her that Anupama’s phone is unreachable. This only makes Jaya more emotional as she keeps crying for her.

At the workplace, Anupama finally completes her tasks and requests Rossi to let her leave. Rossi, worried that the manager might find out she made Anupama work overtime for personal reasons, asks her to finish one last task before leaving. However, this is part of her plan to harass Anupama further. Rossi ends up locking Anupama inside the bathroom intentionally.

Soon, Anupama realizes she has been trapped. Panic sets in as she starts worrying about Jaya waiting for her at home. Back at the house, Jaya grows increasingly desperate and begs Digvijay to go and bring Anupama back. Digvijay dismisses her concerns, calling Anupama irresponsible, and tells Banku to manage Jaya instead. Despite repeated pleas, he refuses to step in. Banku tries to reason that Anupama could be in danger, especially with Paul keeping an eye on her, but Digvijay still refuses to help. Left with no choice, Jaya falls at Digvijay’s feet, begging him to find Anupama. Meanwhile, Anupama, exhausted and helpless, cries out for help from inside the locked washroom and eventually faints due to fatigue.

Elsewhere, Prerna informs Prem that investors are reaching out and urges him to attend an important meeting with her. At the same time, Vasundhara questions the Kothari family about what is happening around them. Mahi presents her new designs to Vasundhara, explaining that she cannot move forward without her approval. Vasundhara appreciates Mahi’s work and motivates her to keep doing well. Anil mentions that Mahi was quite nervous earlier, but Vasundhara reassures her. Grateful for the support, Mahi thanks Rahi for believing in her talent, while Rahi encourages her to never underestimate her abilities.

In an emotional moment, Mahi recalls how she felt comforted as if Anupama had hugged her. Vasundhara then asks about Anupama’s whereabouts, wondering why there has been no news about her. Rahi defends Anupama, expressing her faith and saying that as a devotee of Lord Krishna, Anupama will find her way through any situation.

Eventually, Digvijay reaches the hotel along with Jaya and Banku. He angrily confronts the security guard for being negligent and scolds the receptionist for not cooperating. When the receptionist refuses to help, Digvijay threatens to involve the police and media. This pressure forces the staff to reveal that Anupama has not officially checked out. Digvijay orders them to call all staff members and begin searching immediately.

Soon, Banku and Jaya manage to locate Anupama and rescue her. Once she regains consciousness, Anupama claims she has no idea how she got locked inside and surprisingly takes the blame upon herself. Jaya expresses her gratitude to Digvijay for stepping in. Meanwhile, Anupama worries about losing her job and pleads with the manager not to dismiss her. The manager reassures her that her job is safe. However, Digvijay questions Anupama, asking if she is certain no one intentionally locked her in. This makes Anupama recall Rossi’s actions, though she chooses to stay silent.

In another track, Mahi confronts Gautam and exposes his extramarital affair. Gautam remains unapologetic and taunts Mahi, claiming she is powerless even after knowing the truth. Mahi regrets not listening to the warnings she received about him earlier. As the argument intensifies, Gautam continues to belittle her. Emotionally drained, Mahi thinks about Anupama and wishes to confide in her, but then decides against troubling her further.

Later, Jaya tells Banku that despite his harsh attitude, Digvijay did help them when it mattered. However, Digvijay interrupts and asks both Anupama and Jaya to remain quiet, complaining that he hasn’t been able to sleep peacefully since they arrived. Banku observes that Digvijay may act rude on the outside, but he has noticed a softer side in him, especially when it comes to Jaya. Anupama agrees and expresses her belief that one day, Digvijay’s rigid nature will completely soften.

In the precap, Anupama takes Jaya along to the hotel again. The receptionist neglects to check Jaya’s bag, which later leads to trouble when Anupama discovers a costly necklace inside it. Soon after, a police inspector questions Anupama regarding the incident, while Rossi comes forward and gives a statement that puts Anupama under suspicion.
