i want someone to slap arjun first, then purvi, then archu, then sulo, and i feel even savita/damo/teju needs some slaps too...

in the episode purvi wants noone to know her secret...from precap, i feel noone will know the secret as purvi will go somewhere again and show might take another generation leap as they said...if at all new daamaad onir raises any question truth will be revealed...may be sulo will come back and as archu said once she will send purvi to K's home when sulo is back, and now purvi will interfere with punni...this purvi needs to know when you point a finger at someoe then other fingers point towards you...

For all your questions 👏 Pavitra Jaldi in this Pavitra love of a different kind. hahaha...I doubt people have this weird urgency even when they need to use the washroom :P But our Pavitra Arvi and their urgency has become the saga of love.

Now my take on Aradhana - Yes the movie was very bold for its time and even then the director knew how to approach the question of pre-marital sex so deftly that it did not stir up negativity and went on to become a blockbuster. That is simply because, they showed consequences of these things that people take for granted ( thinking this is my fiance, all is well and we can totally "not wait" anymore). Sharmila's fiance dies in a crash leaving her an unwed mother of an illegitimate child. For this one night of passion, she pays for her life through the movie. As Shyamala aunty says, for all her pain and remorse and the sorry fate that awaited her, you felt pity for her and not disgust at the end of the movie. Genuine mistake ( even though I am not for it at all).

Zamaana has not changed much. If people step outside PR and see the world and society as it is of today in India, this same notion has not changed at all. My mother had the same take on these things and today I ( being of a newer generation than her) have exactly the same thoughts. This is because India has light years to go before something as inbred as moral values take a 360 degree turn. We pride ourselves over this and scoff at the West for the lack thereof. Hence, justifying this track in PR as true pure love or other nonsense won't work for a majority of the audience that this show aims to target.

Disgust is the only emotion I felt watching today's episode.

But yes, on a lighter note, I can't wait for Punni to unravel this delightful news to the entire khandaan and Manju showing Archana and Sulo the mirror. That is one episode I will watch with glee :P And yes, I hope in the same episode the CV's decide to explain to us the concept of these "sanskaars" that apparetnly I missed out on learning on my way to adulthood. :P ahhaah

Poor Purvi. She loves OVi so much as to ask her husband to give her all wife ka "haq" resulting in a legitmate baby versus her illegitimate one. Purvi loved Archana so gave up on her fiance one day after doing the most intimate thing possible. She loved her sister Ovi so much that she insisted that ex-lover cum jeejaji end up making his marriage work and giving her a baby. Since Purvi loves everyone a lot more than she does Arjun, I wonder if it is still called Pavitra pure unmatched love?
