@Mitts In the show they r showing Ovi has some problem that only Dr Onir can handle( I know in reality its not possible)

And Dr Onir himself said Ovi has some mental problem, so as a Dr he should ignore her tanturam and focus on her health, if Ovi had sense she would never be in this position, but as Dr if something happened to Ovi or baby he will always regret it, its my opinion not everyone has to agree with it,

And to those wondering why Purvi is not at the Ks but at Ds.

To Purvi, her maika is where her Aai is. And she had no idea that Ovi was going to leave her precious Arjun and land up there.

Pancham for your information My statement has never bashed Asha negi...Its the character she played in BALH was annoying...I never said Asha is annyoing...Ask anyone who watched that show from the beginning...She was Ram's sister by some association..

To Me Purvi character is Annoying..How is that bashing??? 😕

Ashlaika I dont remember the character name but Asha negi played Ram's sister role initially for a short time b4 she entered as Purvi on PR..Just FYI.

Asha began her acting career in 2011,playing Apeksha Malhotra, the biological sister of the lead, Ram (Ram Kapoor) in the Balaji Telefilms show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain

I cannot for the life of me, figure out why Purvi simply cannot leave Ovi alone? The girl has clearly stated that she does not want Onir to treat her, more so now as she knows he is Purvi's husband. That is her right to refuse to be treated by him.

Now that her parents and Arjun knows just who Onir is and they know the state Ovi is in, the best thing for OVI, had they her best interest at heart, would be to take her to London and have someone else treat her.

But for Archana and Arjun's selfish reasons, they must have Onir because where there is Onir, Purvi will follow. Well Manav lost all concern he had for his kids when he made up with Archana so whatever his forever young wife tells him, he will follow.

I hope Purvi's baby turns out to be Onir's and Arjun's heart breaks till the end of time for being foolish not the first time but the second time. When his dear beloved Purvi told him that if he ever loved her he should have sex with Ovi. If he was ever a friend to Ovi, he would not have asked her for that second chance but divorced her. That is what a good friend would have done. Arjun is the reason for Ovi's present mental condition. Purvi is the reason for Arjun's stupidity.

This is my opinion. It is not necessary that everyone should agree.

Pancham,

Asha played Apeksha - a girl adopted by Ram's mother. She was shown in a mysterious manner for a long time - the viewers had no idea that she was his sister. It was made to appear that she was out to break his marriage - but it turned out she just wanted to reunite him and his mother. She kind of disappeared from the scene after Priya, Ram's wife and his mother got acquainted.

And, I did not find her character annoying but rather poorly written. The writers had no clue when they started the story where they wanted to take it. So it was kind of inconsistent.

That character (except for the fact was adopted) had nothing in common with Purvi, in my view.

Well said, Julie. That pretty much sums up everything.

In my opinion, there is no reason why Onir should be forcing himself on the D's or Kirloskar's and forcefully treat Ovi. One can try to give whatever logic they want to, like, Ovi is not in the right state of mind, and how Onir should help Purvi's family, blah blah blah. The truth is Purvi needs to realize that she cannot have her way each and every time.
Of course, not everyone has to agree.

i feel the writers are pathetic ,who in real world be purvi she is shown really dumb but atleast asha plays it bearable when they showed archana mahaanta nonsense it was torture to wtach coz ankita is horrible actress in rona dhona scenes she cannot act period her dialouge delivery is like reading lines ,the gal who plays ovi teju are much better to watch and onir is delight as well hiten and arjun hiten why r u working in this crap i hope after ankita leaves they get a good actor and not just a beautiful (? ) face

Yes Jyo, Arjun has been called much more uncivilized names on this very forum (all within rules and people's viewpoints). But only ArVians are usually blamed for having a coloured judgement. Atleast a lot of us can draw a line between reel and real.

Purvi acknowledges Onir's place in her life. How could she not? Even Balan has a place by association!! Onir made it possible for her to go on after she had to leave behind her Arjun and the family. As a friend, she thought. He thought more than that. She tried to tell him, as you'd think she would. He didn't want to know. She reiterated that she would not be able to make a marriage work. Yet, they are married. That will come to light eventually.

Right now we are talking about Purvi's choices. First Ovi did not like Onir and all that because she wanted attention. When she started getting that, Purvi showed up, again, like a bad penny. Ovi acted out because of ...well...we all know why. But Onir did not. Onir, who is almost godly in his approach to life, could not digest this person, who is an antithesis of everything he believes in. He refused to treat Ovi. Ovi refused to be treated by him, so there!! Purvi is the only one who realizes that Ovi is being uber Ovi because of her, Purvi. And then, she is the only one who has a way to make the twain meet.

Purvi recognizes that she stands to lose her relationship with Onir in light of her old relationships. But Purvi has to get the medical help that Onir himself admitted Ovi needs.

Does anyone honestly think that Purvi could be selfish and put her needs ahead of anyone else at such a time of need?

Good post Sujata, especially the backlash part. So many of us were against Ovi and Arjun marriage, CVs went ahead with it. We didn't even want pregnancy, they still went ahead with it. Now fans will be probably be blamed for stories having gone convoluted and stupid to unite our jodis. Because CVs just love to listen to us after all!
