Purvi's eyes widened.
Why didn't he hug me back? The lights were completely turned off on the terrace by now, for reasons such as using the energy for the mandap in the hall. His face became invisible almost and Purvi could only make out a broad body. She stuttered even more, confused at his reaction. The music was even louder now; indicating that it was time Purvi reached the mandap.
"Arjun?"
_ "Purvi you're getting wet."
"But Arjun, why-"
_"Go downstairs you're being waited for"
"But-"
_ "Purvi, I said go."
Purvi, shocked at his actions, turned around and walked to her room. Maybe it is time we completely parted ways.
She heard banging on her door and opened it, already knowing what the reactions would be.
_ "What the heck Purvi, we've been kno- what on earth?"
