hmmm….coming to face to face with the hardest reality a mom could ever face in life, that a son assumed dead so far, is nothing more than a career criminal, an outcast in any society…..yup, surely a pseudo-beatitude look is apt on the Mom, as a dear member recently pointed out😆😆

No i don't beliieve thats what mothers would do at all . Not when ur held hostage or a kidnapping attempt on ur daughter has been done by the same person or when ur surrounded by police who will shoot any moment ...one can get emotional later . Not when ur in hostile territory . She had kept her emotions on hold when she was partying in Bhopal hadn't she . In my opinion she overdid the Maa bit .

I guess you are right there. I can't argue with that. maybe all those years of sadness/crazyness/stupidness/hollowness and separation finally got to her? I can only assume that she lost her mental balance for a little while 😕
I still think the goofy smile was cute though.
What I found really difficult to digest was this; All family members were standing within hearing distance of soham and archana, this includes Teju and Manav. So why did no one think to question archana's actions and words as soon as she had spoken them? Surely manav and teju could have and should have deduced from the words 'Soham Beta' that bishnu is in fact Soham. If archu couldn't speak up, the police officers surely could have shouted at the top of their voices at soham to 'put your damn mother down!'
Now THAT would have gotten tongues wagging.

According to Pavitra Rishta world you do 😳
In the real world more likely a normal mother would faint and/or slap the guy and demand to get the hell out of the place. But I heard mothers are forgiving and in that sense of the word, it seemed apt to me at the time of watching the scene.
But now looking back at the situation they were in, I'm guessing the laughing did her no favours.
The scene could have been shot with both sides (Soham and Archana) as strong as each other. With Archana's smile fading as soon as she had caught sight of the goon.
I was sure at one point that she would deny that bishnu was her son. But she seemed maybe a little too accepting. I'm sure if the lady had pointed Balan out at the time, archu would have accepted him as her son too.
Archu needs to visit a relaxing spa and give herself some time out before she loses her mind.

Mothers are forgiving, but the question is if Society will be forgiving??? Not really, and as a mother, Archana, can do nothing in the real world, other than crying and supporting the son emotionally and preparing the son for the harsh law of the Land. CAn Mother's forgive the criminal acts of a Goon who might be kidnapping or killing people? Hopefully moral Moms can't, she will cry her heart out for the son, but never supporting his criminal act...otherwise, what will be the difference between, say Archana and VArsha, in this case...No, I don't believe, all mothers support a criminal son if their action are out and out criminal...thank god, otherwise, the world wouldn't be a civilized place to live in...
Besides, the actual acting of Archana seeing Soham, seemed to me, she looked she achieved mokha, where as to me the hard reality should have just shattered her...but, that was Cvs wrong direction, in my POV...

Manav and Teju did not know anything and they suddenly witnessed someone holding a gun to their loved one's head ...so i can understand that . He could have blown her head off , he had already kidnapped their daughter , shot Arjun and followed them around in Mumbai , taunting them . Their shock and silence is very understandable ...i mean in a split few seconds what does one talk to a gunda holding a gun threatening to blow ur brains off except do the madman's bidding . I blame two persons for not blurting out the truth and getting someone shot in the process

Archana

the police inspector .

These 2 in my opinion could have averted the whole tragedy .
