Yes, that was a Eureka moment, wasn't it? I was delighted😉, and my mother too was greatly amused to see my long standing wish thus suddenly and unexpectedly fulfilled! 😃

The only missing point was that it was not Mother No. 1 Archana, but the decidedly, and most refreshingly, reluctant Teju - she made my day by calling a spade a spade wrt Vishnu - who was roped in for the Great Blood Donation. But only after one resounding slap; why do they all hit each other so readily ? And I agree with you completely, Varsha, about that ugly mere pati aur mere bete ke liye.

I was also quite dumbfounded to see Thug No. 1 Balan (this is beginning to sound like lines from a David Dhawan film with Govinda) being so pat in reeling off the blood groups for himself and Varsha/Jhumri. And Mother No. 1 Archana as well. For Balan, it might be because of other shootouts where he had needed a transfusion, but Archana was a revelation.

All that was missing was Purvi, to add to the lachrymose outpourings for the wellbeing of her Soham Dada.

What I am now waiting for is for Vishnu to wake up and vote, unhesitatingly and unambiguously, for his mayee, and against Mother No.1. Now that would be a nice pickle!

Lastly, do you remember my earlier comment -about Vishnu having been shot on the right side of his chest, and thus not in a critical spot (unless his heart was on the right side), making the doctor's apocalyptic pronouncements look rather silly? The bullet was also shown as being extracted from the right side.

Well, the doc seems to have recovered lost ground yesterday, by declaring that Vishnu's situation was critical since "the goli had gone very close to the heart". So now it is official, ladies, Vishnu/Soham does have his heart on the right side of his chest😉😉. Truly a miracle baby!!

I do not even have the heart to comment on the pathetic Arjun-Ovi scene - his brain has clearly been reduced to blancmange, otherwise there is no way he would have agreed to the re-entry of Punni the Python into his office just to please his chump of a wife (in deference to Purvi's orders).Plus the poor sap is still mooning about his amar prem for Purvi. What can one say about such a total lack of self-respect?

And what was all the guff about Ovi having equal status and authority in his office, as Manav's daughter? The CVs have obviously forgotten that DK has set up a separate firm for Arjun, clearly demarcated from the original OVT, which now belongs half and half to Manav and Ovi. This is why it is totally useless to analyse or even comment on PR.

It sounds as if things were even worse than usual yesterday🤣🤣. Gosh, PR has got to have the most disgruntled lot of viewers/followers/fans😆. I will say that this and Kool Di's satire were the first things to teach me to view the shows humourously rather than seriously. Now I cannot look at my current show without finding some ridiculous thing to laugh knowingly at.😆 Thanks alot Kool Di🤗😆

LOL Shyamala dear I was laughing so hard when the doc said "Bullet has launched so close to the heart" which we all saw he was shot on right side of the chest...I guess Archana's beta can have heart on any side of the chest because she is Beautiful Aai Archana..Even Bhagwan has to change his ways in creating human 😉😆 than again the bullet did come out from the right side too how wonderful...

Varsha my dear, re: your question, that perennial bromide is meant for us, the unfortunate viewers, more than for anyone else. We need such exhortations to keep us from collapsing out of sheer irritation and /or ennui.

Now today, ladies, what did you make of Purvi's long lecture to her aaji about Vishnu/Soham's (well hidden) virtues?

It set my teeth on edge as she trotted out every bit of nonsense she had earlier spouted to Archana, one day after he kidnapping fiasco, including how Vishnu seemed to her 'like one of us'. At that time, the CVs had carefully edited the clip of her being slapped by Thug No.2, and eliminated Vishnu's eminently practical comment that he should not 'slap 3 crores', since Manav Deshmukh was ready to pay the ransom, but if he did not pay up, Vishnu would himself ask for a bullet to be put thru her head. This is their version of revisionist history. And the Stockholm Syndrome is nothing to Purvi's goings on!

So now, after having demolished Arjun comprehensively, Purvi is all set to rehabilitate Vishnu and become even more mahaan. Meanwhile, Arjun is chewing a chap out in the precap for not being able to replace Purvi, as Punni and Ovi look on. Is Punni the Python going to try her hand at replacing Purvi in the office? Seems very doubtful, seeing that our wonder girl is one of a kind, but one never knows with the CVs, and then again , what IS Punni planning to do there? Personally, I don't think the CVs have any idea either; they seem to be making up the story on a day to day basis.

Anyhow, I do not think Vishnu is going to fit into the warm embrace of the Deshmukhs. He is a wild character, and he will plump for Balan and Varsha when he is finally up and about, perhaps by Friday. He is not a minor, and Manav and Archana cannot hold him if he does not want to stay. So it will be left to Purvi, the only Deshmukh he can stand, to bring him round. I can practically see the halo taking shape round her pretty head!

And have you all noticed how good I am getting at predicting things? 😉 Just yesterday, I had noted that "all that was missing was Purvi, to add to the lachrymose outpourings for the wellbeing of her Soham Dada". Lo and behold, we are now to be blessed with not one but 2 more watering pots in the corridors of the City Hospital, as Purvi will arrive there tomorrow with her aaji in tow. The hospital staff had better organise a fresh lot of mops and buckets.

Varsha, it is sweet of you to be concerned about my poor wrist. It is exactly as it was, in that it recovers with rest but reverts as soon as I exert it for 2-3 pages of typing. Nowadays I wear a wrist pad all the time when I am typing, and I still hope to be able to avoid a second operation. Let us see. I do intend to be very careful with it, as you advise.

How is your wrist BTW...Hope recovering...Not to take those things very lightly...I had my foot in cam boot and brace for almost a yr...Do write but not loong post to hurt it again...Take care dear...

I am glad you like my pieces, but my humour is drier than ever these days, as all emotion has been sucked out of it, over the last few weeks, by sheer exasperation . And still I watch PR. Why, I cannot say!😉So don't worry, I am not going anywhere awhile yet!

Shyamla Di I have read a few bits and pieces of your writing and always thoroughly enjoy the way you present it with your dry humour.😃 So please, stay awhile longer on this very comedic show. At the least you'll earn yourself a belly-full of laughter everyday.😉
